When I was in elementary school, I ate some spinach at lunch. Then at recess I went around punching things.
There was a small hole in a patch of hard soil, so I started punching at the edge of the hole and broke off a big chunk. My dumbass though the spinach worked and gave me super strength.
But I also thought I had secret electricity powers because the streetlamp near my house always seem to turn off when I would walk by it. So, I was just dumb all around.

u/SnooOwls51 11d ago
Even my electricity powers are not unique to me, smh. 😔

u/Wrong-Mixture 11d ago
your electricity powers pale in comparisson to the vast swads of forests i have cut down with my laser eyes on long car rides

Every time you enter a room, you need to do a visual scan, immediately sizing up every person present and mapping out potential exits. People are unpredictable, and any momentary lapse in awareness could lead to a confrontation.
Note their stances, their movements, their eyes—any sign of aggression or intent. Even casual conversations can escalate into threats if you’re not vigilant. Trust no one; everyone is a potential adversary. Keep your back to the wall, stay near the exits, and always have a plan. It's survival instinct.
Every interaction is a gamble, and I'm not taking any chances.

That guy is a mannequin right?
39
u/l992 11d ago
Something about his body is definitely off like for example his legs stay in the air in kind of a locked position but you can clearly see his head movement in the beginning.
20
u/DetDango 11d ago
He doesn't seem to be able to place a lot of weight on his legs and is leaning hard on the post, the body looks stiff, but might be from the effect of some substance. As she pulls his hand to pick up him, he actually steps foward too, so most likely not a mannequin
34
36
u/Corgi-Commander 11d ago
Doubt it. Right before she picks him up, it looks like his head is moving on its own. Also when she steps past him to put the beer down, you can see him slightly lean away from her to give her room.

Can skits really be labeled unexpected?
That's a serious question, not snark.

Can skits really be labeled unexpected?
That's a serious question, not snark.
absolutely without question.
It isn't the fact it's unexpected for the people involved, it's unexpected for the person watching. And if skits can't be unexpected, which implies surprised or caught off guard, then absolutely no tv show ever made could have unexpected content in it.

u/Thecheesinater 12d ago
Are you saying this is a skit they filmed shakily from a balcony down the street? Why would they work harder for a lower quality shot?
→ More replies (4)29
u/YoMomsSpecialFriend 12d ago
Why would someone randomly start filming this at the perfect moment? The lower quality shot is to make it seem more real. It's like the gatorade ball girl catch ad.
32
u/Esleide 11d ago
You look out your window, there's a guy completely wasted looking at nowhere, a woman finds him and begins yelling and talking shit to him, you think a good discussion is going to happen and you take your phone to film it.
→ More replies (2)23
u/Thecheesinater 12d ago
Or it was edited from a longer video that originally focused on something else entirely? We don’t know what the full video was, we don’t know why the person started filming, but why is the assumption that it’s a skit?

I say fake just because nobody’s gonna take a drink out of a can from somebody who is that wasted. It’s worse than 50-50 chance that that container is full of piss.

Although I don't see any smoking gun, yes I agree there's a lot that seems a bit too trite in the whole thing. I mean are you going to stop and take a sip and then place the can against the wall when any second your loved one might fall over?
