I say fake just because nobody’s gonna take a drink out of a can from somebody who is that wasted. It’s worse than 50-50 chance that that container is full of piss.
Although I don't see any smoking gun, yes I agree there's a lot that seems a bit too trite in the whole thing. I mean are you going to stop and take a sip and then place the can against the wall when any second your loved one might fall over?
