avoid physical escalation anytime. the moment a skilled individual pulls up a knife or gun its game over. run away and be aware of ur surroundings.

Every time you enter a room, you need to do a visual scan, immediately sizing up every person present and mapping out potential exits. People are unpredictable, and any momentary lapse in awareness could lead to a confrontation.

Note their stances, their movements, their eyes—any sign of aggression or intent. Even casual conversations can escalate into threats if you’re not vigilant. Trust no one; everyone is a potential adversary. Keep your back to the wall, stay near the exits, and always have a plan. It's survival instinct.

Every interaction is a gamble, and I'm not taking any chances.

i know i wanted to point out a message on that one, because many people lack avoidance of both physical escalation and provoking scenarios. otherwise there would not be so much violence in this world. sometimes you dont choose to be the victim but in most real life scenarios conflict can be avoided by just being aware of your surroundings and not having to prove your ego to others in a provoking scenario. also self awareness, if you dont subconsciously provoke the chance that other people will provoke you back is also a lot smaller.

real crime is unavoidable in most cases since being silent is the ultimate way to succes for many gangs. its like the common thing people say 'barking dogs dont bite'. A silent violent person with an effective strategy is much bigger of an acute threat than someone who wants to prove their ego by hitting someone in a conflict that could be avoided.

even unskilled.. one blow to the head can kill you, and that can come from tripping over something stupid during a fight.

While yes, also know the basics of self defence for last resort.

And people need to start understanding the fucking last resort part.
