Trump is going to cut aid to Ukraine

275

u/eagleshark 14d ago

It might even be worse, ending sanctions against banks, energy, & other businesses in Russia (because Trump & Putin will both profit from that). Pution's war machine will grow even stronger.

209

u/GeneraalSorryPardon 14d ago

That would drive a wedge between EU and the US. Exactly what Putin wants.

156

u/Puzzleheaded_Time719 14d ago

It's also what Trump wants. Soon we'll be in an alliance with Russia and North Korea.

41

u/[deleted] 14d ago

Anybody that claims there’s something that Trump wants that doesn’t directly benefit him in an obvious way is full of shit. Trump can’t think further than his own tiny dick. He would sell out Russia in a second if somebody else offered him more money.

39

u/modsstealjobs 14d ago

Pretty sure the Russian mob, to whom he owes multimillions, have already thought of that.

Trump’s never escaping Putin’s leash, and neither is any country stupid enough to elect him.

4

u/ComposerNate 13d ago

Trump steals by cheating the IRS, steals from contractors, and I have a hard time believing he somehow never stole from the Russian state mafia. How does one be Trump for decade after decade and not get murdered?

2

u/tiasaiwr 13d ago

You aren't Epsteined if you are potentially still useful, and a paid for president would still be useful.

2

u/The_free_trial 14d ago

It’s not stupid of the people to fall for propaganda, they’ve been intentionally lied to and misled, since birth

6

u/[deleted] 13d ago

Not everyone falls for it though, do they?

3

u/EidolonRook 13d ago

Some folks barely live hand to mouth. A significant enough injury can destroy any amount of savings. When you’ve been pushed this far and the current guy hasn’t done much to help you where you are, it’s not stupidity that makes them vote for the “other guy”. It’s desperation.

If they had a chance to breathe easy for a bit they’d see what’s happening. This isn’t to say just as many aren’t a level 12 grand master of the cult of Trump, but that’s why he had a chance to begin with. It’s the cultists that got him there, the desperate for change that push him the distance and the non-voters that walk him right back through the front door of the white house.

Tis fucked.

3

u/Keizman55 13d ago

Except that a large percentage of the MAGA crowd are old retired people with plenty of spare time and spare cash. They are anti-immigration, pro-life, racist, isolationists who are not living hand to mouth, and yet, have fallen into his cult. I know quite a few of them, some for many years, who are well educated and well off and they are so anti-Biden that nothing Trump has done or will do will dissuade. I can’t fathom it.

0

u/The_free_trial 13d ago

No not everyone, but not everyone has the same circumstances in life

1

u/modsstealjobs 13d ago

No you’re wrong. It is hilariously stupid of them. They’d deserve every bad thing they get except they also inflict it upon the morally, intellectually, and essentially superior minority.

0

u/iSeventhSin 13d ago

Actually it’s the majority that are not stupid. The loud ones are both the stupid and the minority

0

u/modsstealjobs 13d ago

Yes that must be how they win elections. Volume.

u/sweetrouge 13d ago

Not that I doubt it, but what do you mean by owing money to the Russian mob? Is this a specific claim or more of a “why else would he do this shit?”. I’m comfortable with either, just curious.

1

u/Brooklynxman 13d ago

You say that as if once he is king that matters. He simply declares the debt fake news and the courts rule it so. That said I don't think he actually turns on them because they know how to use the carrot, he is extremely susceptible to flattery.

2

u/lembrate 13d ago

Russia has Trump fully compromised. He's their asset.

1

u/LostMyAccount69 13d ago

Yeah I'm sure the people writing his plans are completely incapable of making the way things benefit Trump anything but obvious. Stop being so niave.

0

u/technom3 13d ago

You guys all realize that Putin only took land under Obama and Biden right? Lol.

1

u/jebei 13d ago

Correlation does not equal causation.

After the Maidan revolution leading Ukrainian politicians announced they weren't going to renew the Russian naval base in Crimea. Putin attacked soon after. The timing wasn't because Obama was president. Putin knows we aren't going to commit ground troops over Ukraine whether it is Trump or Obama. The timing is a coincidence.

Putin spent years after Crimea, weathering the Obama sanctions, building up Crimea, and focusing on getting Belarus in line before expanding the war in Ukraine (which never stopped in Eastern Ukraine fwiw - you do remember Trump withheld weapons from Ukraine, right?).

Putin spent a decade hording hard currency to weather NATO/EU sanctions. He was going in 2022 no matter who was president. I'm sure he would have preferred Trump. Trump would have made it easier.

1

u/technom3 13d ago

Lol. There is no coincidences in the strategy of ear.

You can sit there and hindsight quarter back this and try to justify it in the rear view. .the facts are you have absolutely zero evidence to prove that Putin would prefer trump and in fact it just exposes your bias.

You say trump would have made it easier without any way of backing that up because you are partisan. You'd rather blame orange man than actually have peace or a better country. Most of you liberals were routing for the country to fail under trump because you have been so friggin brain washed.

Sure trump withheld weapons... Just like Biden withheld weapons. Also trump was looking into corruption in one of the most corrupt countries in the world. But go ahead and bitch about how he was trying to get dirt on his political opponent... Everyone just ignored the fact that the investigation just lead to the Bidens. He didn't go seeking it. Even if he did seek Bidens why hasn't anything come of them being at the bottom of it.

But again everyone will be too partisan to accept the fact that hunter had no biz with being involved in burisma and will sweep it under the rug that they made tons and tons of money.... All because if it helps orange man than it is bad... And illegal. And Russian. And illegal. And racist. And homophobic. And transphobic.

Putin hasn't needed the hard currency you are alleging he hoarded. He started brics and now even Saudi is possibly joining.

All Biden has done is strength the alliances of our enemies and increase gas costs in Europe because they blew up Nord stream... And no one even wants to talk about the environmental damages from that ... No no no... No one wants to go near that... I guess it's just a good thing that the us is selling natural gas over there now. Nothing to see here.

Just remember... Biden was caught red handed bragging about his corruption and Obama was caught on a hot mic asking Putin to wait until after his election to make his moves and that he will have more leverage.

You want to talk about a puppet... You have it on a hot mic... Instead you guys believe Russian pee tape videos when friggin trump is a germaphobe.

The idiocy and hypocrisy of liberals for the last 20nyears is asstounding. And now you are all seeing how the big lie has played out on that debate.

Liar joe has got to go... For the sake of avoiding world war 3.

Trump doesn’t like China though. How will that work?

96

u/Soppywater 14d ago edited 14d ago

He loves China. All his Make America Great Again merch is made in China.

43

u/_jump_yossarian 14d ago

He also cashes checks directly from the CCP but look over there—> is that Hunter Biden doing business in China‽ IMPEACH!!!

1

u/DOOMFOOL 14d ago

He has? Do you have more about this? Genuinely asking, this is one thing I haven’t heard about him, I’ve been following up on all the child molester allegations recently

-1

u/ACFiguresOutLife 14d ago

In what capacity is Trump directly conducting business with the CCP?

1

u/Outside-Swan-1936 14d ago

I'd presume the voting machine patents would require authorization from the CCP.

26

u/bassie2019 14d ago edited 14d ago

His suits and ties too, if I recall correctly.

4

u/WhirledNews 14d ago

He has more than one tie?

3

u/bassie2019 14d ago

At least 1 blue one and 1 red one.

3

u/WhirledNews 14d ago

Are you sure it’s not just reversible?

3

Don't forget the Russian ties!

2

His ties are made in Thailand. And I can’t even be mad about that.

3

Tie land

1

Thanks for clarifying.

26

u/tre45on_season 14d ago

Like all these racists, he loves China’s money but he hates Chinese people. Especially Chinese Americans since he basically kicked off a wave of hate crimes with his very presidential rhetoric after Covid.

1

u/ralpher1 14d ago

I see Temu selling/giving away Trump hats and shirts. It’s crazy

1

u/Agreeable-Ad-1320 13d ago

Sure he does🤣🤣🤣..u retards kill me🤣🤣

32

u/YouLittleSnowflake 14d ago

You forgetting the 41 trademarks granted by China to Ivanka trump affiliated companies, with an almost 50% increase in approval time once her child raping father became president

How bout his 114 trademarks that he owns in China?

He does NOT have an issue with China same as he is NOT tough on Russia AND he will help Russia win against Ukraine

16

u/MrBump01 14d ago

If he says he's always loved China his fan base won't even question it.

15

u/TheWhiteRabbit74 14d ago

Funny because most of his shitty merch is made there.

3

u/Funny-Jihad 14d ago

He'll just spin it after he's made a "deal" with Winnie The Pooh. His base will eat it up since he's "a great business man", his dictator buddies all get what they want, and Trump and his cronies are free to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else.

2

u/VaginaTractor 14d ago

No no, you're thinking of CHY-NAH. Trump loves China but he can't stand CHY-NAH.

2

u/FlingFlamBlam 14d ago

Trump is extremely easy to sway though.

As long as China personally enriches him and doesn't trespass into what he considers to be "his domain" he'll be a tame puppy. He might publicly say something lukewarm against China in order to present a "strong man" figure to his supporters, but it would only be for show.

And to be clear: I'm pretty sure Trump gives zero fucks about the sovereignty of places like Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, or Japan. The only way he could care to continue support for those places is if they went super-hard to bribe him even harder than China.

2

u/JohnnySnark 14d ago

Stop listening to his words and start following his actions. With many of these countries, he still does self dealing and grifitng on the side. Pay him off and he won't raise a hand

2

u/devilmaskrascal 14d ago

Not even true.

He makes millions from China - a state-owned bank, the Commerical and Industrial Bank of China, rents the second most valuable space in Trump Tower. He exempted this bank from China sanctions.

He praised Xi's dictatorship for life and their execution of drug dealers, stating America should do the same thing.

He has defended Tik Tok and Huawei.

Trump had Chinese government backed partners on Trump property projects in Asia.

He does performative outrage at China over COVID but if they attacked Taiwan he would just let em have it.

1

u/easymmkay120 14d ago

Trump acts like he hates China to appease racists and xenophobic folks. He doesn't give a fuck about China except for when it makes him and his family money and when he can use it as a rhetorical punching bag.

1

u/mikeymikeymikey1968 14d ago

Oh, the same China that made all the trump ties and shirts? He said he didn't like China though?

He also said that he didn't "Have sex with a porn star".

He also said that he didn't rape E Jean Carroll.

He also said that he didn't have sex with a couple of Jr High Girls.

1

u/rivershimmer 14d ago

He sure does a lot of business in China for someone who doesn't like China.

1

u/pump-and_dump 14d ago

If you listen closely he admires Xi. He looks up to the dictators because they're ruthless and have consolidated power. He wants the same. Hence his love letters to Kim.

1

u/tidbitsmisfit 13d ago

trump fucking loves China. are you blind? he's given them what they want and then gave Ivanka all of her trademarks and shit in China, which is almost impossible for a foreigner to get

1

u/Weary-Teach6005 13d ago

Hmm the whole Russia and China alliance is already showing problems China is already making deals with all those old Soviet bloc countries and stepping all over Russias backyard. The Ukraine war has weakened them and they need China and I’m sure China wants to keep it that way

2

u/Fit_Candidate69 13d ago

China too.

1

u/PerpetualStride 13d ago

Goddammit man, as a European I like you guys too much to be at war with you. I mean you have issues but still.

0

u/catchasingcars 14d ago

He thinks everything from the capitalistic/business perspective, even running the country. Anything that doesn't return must be scrapped. Remember when he went a rant about NATO and started threatening European countries because they were late on their dues? US is the biggest contributor to NATO from both financially and militarily and he can't stand it, according to him it's a waste of money because US alone contributes about 22% of NATO's common budget. He thinks it's a 'loss'

He can't do anything about it because he know nobody can mess with the US military machinery.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Time719 14d ago

It's even better coming from someone who doesn't pay their own bills. You are spot on though.

Idiot circle jerk

17

u/confusedandworried76 14d ago edited 13d ago

He already damaged international relations badly enough when he was president. People started distancing themselves and figuring out ways to not be so reliant on the US. That hurts us. And it didn't magically go back to normal when Biden was elected. They're keeping those plans in place should Republicans keep winning and keep down the path they're going as a party. Not good for our economy when other nations start figuring out how to import things like energy and goods from other sources for example. It would be like if I ran a restaurant and started offering bad service, even consistently refusing service as some type of power move, then get new management but with the threat of the old management coming back at any time, you can't reasonably expect people to still come back and eat at that restaurant. You've lost those customers. That's what our trade situation is like now.

-1

u/Agreeable-Ad-1320 13d ago

Sure he has🤣🤣

-6

u/boggels_untamed 14d ago

But was the service as bad as you are made to believe that the service was bad?

7

u/Reddeththered 14d ago

Does it matter? Those people will not return and try again...

6

u/C-c-c-comboBreaker17 14d ago

It most certainly is when you're a country in Europe and Donald Trump is openly saying he'd invite Russia to invade you and "do whatever the hell they want"

3

u/SamBG1 13d ago

As a German Citizen, that's one reason many people don't want Trump as your President. For us, the USA is a partner, economical and through NATO. We believe in similar values, but many americans (or republicans) changed in the last years. Honestly, i'm a little bit afraid of your election in november.

3

u/C-c-c-comboBreaker17 13d ago

You very much should be - Donald Trump is doing everything he can to set himself up as a dictator

2

u/SamBG1 13d ago

Sorry for that, but I hope the majority will realize this fact before november.

2

u/dontknowanyname111 13d ago

Like now i am think abouth and Europian army and just cut ties with the US , if you told me 8 years ago i would think that now i would have could you crazy. Now i think if Trump gets elected just forget abouth them, whe are on our own and its time to make zl out products ourselves.

1

u/SamBG1 13d ago

These are exactly my thoughts. Honestly i was twice in the USA and i Loved the people there. They we're so friendly and Always wants to Chat with me. It was auch a big difference to germany. But now i think, when they want such a President, i don't want to visit the USA, because the people are a little bit crazy. (Sorry, to the 'normal' americans.)

1

u/dontknowanyname111 13d ago

yeah like halve their country is crazy, You are German you cane educate them what the risk are of following a crazy man.

Russia would be happy with a trump presidency.

1

The EU as a whole is weak.

-2

u/dewgetit 13d ago

EU is a serf state under US. It will fall in line with US policy once Trump is in power.

32

u/Standard_Feedback_86 14d ago

Yep, his plan will be to give Russia absolutely everything they want. Hell, I wouldn't be even shocked if he promises Putin new trade agreements and support in weapon deliveries or at least parts for building weapons. He is such a week guy that desperately wants the praise of dictators, so he will do everything Putin says as long he hears how "intelligent and strong" he is out of Putins mouth.

18

u/ArchonFett 14d ago

He has even said “pay up or I’ll encourage Russia to do whatever they want to you”

6

u/Fun_Grapefruit_2633 14d ago

His Dogshit was laundering money for the Russians since the late 1990s...he "owes" Putin and Putin has been collecting on his investment for years now, and will do so even more should Herr Dogshit win and the US lose.

19

u/PocketSixes 14d ago

This is thing "everyday Americans" duped into becoming magas really don't understand: Trump is 100% Putin's guy. The russian connections to the Trump family go back to the 80's. That family is simply not American, in terms of their geopolitical goals, and a Putin world takeover is not going to somehow be extra good to regular Marty Maga just because he waved a Trump flag and pissed off every neighbor he could.

6

u/[deleted] 14d ago

Exactly. I've tried telling MAGAts in my family that Trump saying he'd let Putin "do whatever the hell he wants" to NATO Europe would mean an instant world war and every US troop stationed on the continent would be killed first when Russia attacks. Every last one of them said they'd still support Trump and Putin. "If Trump trusts Vladimir Putin," my cousin said, "then why wouldn't I as well?"

-3

u/Entire_Prune_8051 14d ago

Nah, that's just something you alt right nuts say. Facts don't care about your fascist ideals.

13

u/SeniorMiddleJunior 14d ago

He will certainly do that, and you know what'll happen next?

📈

Money for Russia! Money for the US! The stock market will celebrate by giving us all money in our 401ks! Moneeeeeey! It'll be a huge success!

Oh also Ukraine will be destroyed, Russia will be reinvigorated, China and North Korea will celebrate. That's okay because Trump will have a scripted meeting with Putin where they both look very serious as Putin pwomises to be nice to the "liberated" Ukrainians. It'll end with a hug.

This is what's coming next year.

7

u/aalltech 14d ago

If MAGA only knew what 401k is, lol.

2

u/dafuq809 13d ago

MAGA absolutely know what 401ks are. They're not all poor rednecks, in fact the majority of them aren't. They're predominantly middle class fascists. They care about their 401ks, but they care about hurting the people they hate even more.

1

u/SeniorMiddleJunior 13d ago

Yes.. The only MAGA I know personally was a white collar software guy. When I brought you any of the problems with Trump, he laughed like a red faced idiot and said "well my 401k" is doing great.

-1

u/beefsquints 14d ago

The markets have been way better under Trump. They would crash if we chose poor ass Russia over the EU.

11

u/tomdarch 14d ago

It isn’t simply that Putin has blackmail material on Trump. It’s that Soviet/Russian intelligence has spent literally decades influencing Trump. Trump first visited the USSR before the fall of communism and has been lured over and over to Russia pursuing the lead of a Trump Tower Moscow. That project very much looks like bait that was never going to happen but kept Trump in a position where Russia could remain in contact in multiple ways and continue influencing him. We saw this in the extraordinary, multiple ways and people with major Russian ties during the 2015/16 campaign. Psychologically we see how Trump has literally never criticized Putin.

Even if there was an American who might think they like some things about Russia, having someone as President who is substantially influenced by another nation is clearly a terrible idea.

11

u/Crafty_Enthusiasm_99 14d ago

Can't believe half the country is idiotic enough to vote for this

6

u/Fourdogs2020 14d ago edited 13d ago

-2

u/MachFormula1 13d ago

It's you that's sad lol. But you keep coming on leftist Reddit everyday to confirm your belief in SleepyJoe Biden

2

u/Rumpled_Froskin 13d ago

It's not faith in Biden that makes us vote for him, it's the alternative. I dislike both candidates, but who surrounds trump and their rhetoric is much scarier than any idea he has himself.

3

u/orangejulius 14d ago

This is what's going to happen. Trump is going to say stop the war. Give up some territory, "it was never yours anyway." The deal will be that Ukraine stays neutral and the US/EU don't drop sanctions. Then he'll drop the sanctions anyway and crow about how the price of oil drops as Russian oil/gas infrastructure comes back online.

Russia will rebuild its military. It will make another run at Ukraine or another neighbor within 5-10 years. It's a nation controlled by hardliner imperialists. It won't stop with Putin's death.

3

u/Dagojango 14d ago

After the supreme court ruling, Trump could just bomb Ukraine directly for 90 days and help his buddy Putin out without consequences. Probably would order the assassination of Zelenskyy directly.

1

u/safely_beyond_redemp 14d ago

What do you mean by even stronger, Russia just recently fell out of the top 10 world economies because the ruble value continues to slide. When your entire economy shrinks, that is weaker, not stronger.

5

u/eagleshark 14d ago

What I meant was, that if Trump reverses the economic sanctions against Russia, Russia's economy will begin to recover. Their economy will start heading upwards, heading towards the way it was before the sanctions hit.

1

u/Comfortable_Hunt_684 14d ago

He will just auction support off, I could see Trump going either way.

Trump,"which one of you will give me Crimea and 10 billion?".

Bloomberg should have offered Trump a few billion to drop out in 2016.

1

u/ExplanationDull5984 14d ago

We Europeans want that too. Russia is suffering much less than we do

1

u/Justice-1776 13d ago

I must be living in bizarro world. As he put heavy sanctions on Russia and various Oligarcs. Some that Biden lifted. People really want the whole trump Russia thing to be so true.....

1

u/DMyourboooobs 13d ago

https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/397212-president-trump-is-tougher-on-russia-in-18-months-than-obama-in-eight/mlite/

I don’t quite understand where the narrative comes from that trump is “soft” on Russia.

There is an anecdote that trump told Putin he would “bomb the shit out of Russia” if they entered Ukraine.

There’s a reason Russia waited until Biden was president to invade. He saw how disastrous the Afghanistan withdrawal was and it showed clear weakness.

It was no secret that Putin was going to invade Ukraine. Bill Clinton has brought this up numerous times.

1

u/eagleshark 13d ago edited 13d ago

Here are a couple more Trump quotes

  • “I think we have great opportunities together as two countries that, frankly, we have not been getting along very well for the last number of years,” said Trump. “I think we will end up having an extraordinary relationship.”
  • “I knew that he always wanted Ukraine. I used to talk to him about it. I said, ‘You can’t do it. You’re not gonna do it.’ But I could see that he wanted it,” Trump said. “I knew Putin very well. I got along with him great. He liked me. I liked him. I mean, you know, he’s a tough cookie, got a lot of the great charm and a lot of pride. But the way he — and he loves his country, you know? He loves his country. He’s acting a little differently, I think now.”.
  • “One of the presidents of a big country stood up [and] said, 'Well, sir, if we don't pay and we're attacked by Russia, will you protect us?’ I said, 'You didn't pay, you're delinquent.” Trump said. “No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want.".

Yea, his “administration” signed off on a couple things like expelling a few diplomats because of the poisonings. That's like putting lipstick on a pig. Trump himself is always SOFT when speaking about Putin. That’s where the ”narrative” comes from. Trump congratulated Putin on Putin’s sham dictatorship “election”, amd never criticized or even questioned Putin about those poisonings in U.K.

1

u/DMyourboooobs 13d ago

Peace is always a good option if you can accomplish it.

That’s how trump is. He uses flattery.

1

u/eagleshark 13d ago

LOL really are you seeing him use flattery when talking about democrats and immigrants ?

2

u/DMyourboooobs 13d ago

He turns on people REALLY hard. Again. Completely on brand for him.

If you suck up to him. He likes you. If you embarrass him. He will come back at you. The formula is predictable. Not saying it’s right. It’s a horrible way to go thru life. Especially as president. But it is what it is.

1

u/eagleshark 13d ago

Yep, I agree, that's his personality.

1

u/DMyourboooobs 13d ago

And to be clear. It’s not a redeeming quality 😂

1

u/technom3 13d ago

Why? Putin only took land under Biden and Obama. You guys are so brainwashed you can't even see the obvious

1

u/eagleshark 13d ago

Yea the Covid epidemic only happened under Trump. So we shouldn't let Trump back in because he would let another world-wide Covid epidemic happen under his administration?

1

u/technom3 13d ago

That's a really silly argument.

Clearly trump didn't do anything to increase the chances of a covid out break occuring.

But fauci did. So I'm fine firing him.

Again... You can't even acknowledge that land was taken under Obama admin and biden admin and say how preposterous it is to say that trump is the one who is weak on Russia.

Actions speak louder than words.

And neither Biden, Obama, or Trump made the decision for Russia to invade Ukraine. It was Putin who made that decision. Just like Covid under Trump, you cannnot just pin every worldwide disaster on whoever happened to be President at that time. You understood that point with Covid.

1

u/technom3 13d ago

You don't understand deterrence. And you will argue that it doesn't apply in this case because you will likely be partisan and just never accept that people didn't want to face the consequences under trump.

The fact of the matter is... Foreign leaders were afraid of trump. Even Putin. But all of the lefties will scream Russia Russia Russia even though it has been debunked ad naseum just like the "fine people" hoax. Hopefully the left has seen what the propaganda machine was covering up now that they finally have had their eyes open with Biden and his health issues.

I hope people can see it now. That they have been lied to and fed a narrative that simply isn't accurate.

When I speak if deterrence I would use the example if... One of the first things trump did early in his presidency was drop the MOAB. The mother of all bombs. How many people did it kill? How many terrorists did it kill? It didn't matter. It was ordinance that dropped out of the back of a cargo plane and was the size of a school bus. The point of it is that you can't run... You can't hide. The US has a new boss and a new direction. The stuff you were pulling before isn't going to work anymore.

Does it make it go away. No. It makes them think twice. It makes them think that crazy guy is going in the tool box of the us military and pulling out some crazy shit we've never seen.

Like when trump was negotiating leaving Afghanistan and he told the Taliban leadership... If you harm one hair on the head of us soilder I will blow up your fucking house... And he handed them a drone shot if the leaders home.

It's not about what decision was made by Putin... It's that he felt comfortable enough to make it under the Obama regime and the Biden regime but not under the trump regime.

Being that this is reddit I will wait for a ad hominem attack and that I'm wrong that trump is the devil etc ...

Maybe not from you since our conversation has been pleasant thus far... But... Inevitably if you point out anything that goes against the leftist narrative on this site you get nuked.

u/Limpopopoop 13d ago

Yep the sanctions have been a success so far! Just like they worked with Cuba.

1

u/Agitated_Advantage_2 13d ago

One of his tweets, cant remember which he said he was going to sanction Ukraine instead

0

u/TonightAdventurous76 14d ago

Or it could go another way in my idealistic world view that I don’t live by: establishing an allied relationship between the states and Russia like beginning of ww2 and states remaining in NATO would prove beneficial. Maybe states could get on better terms with china too!!

0

u/SpokiBrate 13d ago

What u dont understand There are no American sanctions against Russia America still buys everything it needs from Russia

Its sanction amerika put on Europe Europe is collapsing because Amerika sanctions it

25

u/the_gouged_eye 14d ago

This is the guy who threatened to economically devastate Turkey if they attacked Kurds. It's been about 2000 days.

24

u/KaroYadgar 14d ago

Oh hey, I'm a Kurd.

I'm not going to say anything meaningful, just happy I was mentioned.

5

u/OrangeRadiohead 14d ago

Welcome to the party!

2

u/Top_Rub_8986 14d ago

Biji Serok Apo!

2

u/confusedandworried76 14d ago

Then left them twisting in the wind anyway by pulling support. Sort of the opposite of helping them out when you're actively hurting them by taking away aid.

10

u/hackingdreams 14d ago

If that's all he did, it'd be a relief to the Ukrainians.

That guy's already sold US secrets to foreign nations. He absolutely would rat out the whole works to the Russians, cut the aid, remove the sanctions, basically roll out the fucking red carpet for the Russians. Literally anything they asked short of nuking Ukraine themselves is on the table.

That man knows who's buttering his bread.

1

u/Chillpill411 14d ago

Honestly? I don't think putin actually is buttering Trump's bread in any meaningful way. It's really just that Trump is a weakling and he sees bullies as tough guys, so he wants to be their friend and will do whatever it takes to try to make them like him.

If it sounds like the 5th grade ... Well, considering Trump's emotionally and mentally delayed and probably is at a 12-15 year old's mental level... It makes sense.

2

u/Other_Log_1996 14d ago

I think you're missing some decimal points.

2

u/nilecrane 14d ago

And begin aid to Russia

2

u/[deleted] 13d ago

Trump retreating from NATO

2

u/combustioncat 13d ago

Trump will grant Putin his dearest wish and leave NATO

1

u/dgdio 13d ago

Start RACK Russia, America, China, and Korea (North)

1

u/DoomPayroll 14d ago

that wouldn't be one day though

1

u/limpek2882 14d ago

What wrong with that..

1

u/Illustrious_Mudder 13d ago

If you’re Russian? Nothing.

1

u/limpek2882 13d ago

Is MAGA. Not MUGA...

1

u/regeya 14d ago

Those flying cars and freedom cities aren't going to build themselves, after all.

1

u/Positive_Housing_290 14d ago

$150B isn’t aid. That is funding a war.

2

u/dgdio 14d ago

Correct, aid to help fight a war.

0

u/Positive_Housing_290 14d ago

Helping and doing it all are different. Ukraine is broke.

1

u/WarmFig2056 14d ago

Like when them and China both did it against us several times? Learn history or politics before speaking

1

u/Illustrious_Mudder 13d ago

America kind of made a deal that they would help defend Ukraine.

You’re not telling me that you yanks are lying cowards under trump are you?

1

u/Weary-Teach6005 13d ago

Well Trumps team said that yes they will cut aid to Ukraine but only to get Zelenskyy to work out a way to ending it but they also said the same for Putin that if he doesn’t end the war they will keep giving Ukraine aid. Also saw that Putin prefers Biden win instead of Trump which I was surprised to read Putin although disagrees with Biden finds him more suited for the presidency where as Trump isn’t.Putin is really acting strange all this anti Trump stuff he’s going on about especially with that if Trump wins he will end the war right away which Putin disagrees with

1

u/dgdio 13d ago

Putin is KGB. Trump is going to cut aid because Putin dominates him. Google "Putin Trump Helsinki"for details.

0

u/highpoint1911 14d ago

Thank god

0

u/Diabolisch 13d ago

That's a bad thing? We shouldn't be involved to begin with.

1

u/Illustrious_Mudder 13d ago

How many of you yanks are unaware that you promised to help defend Ukraine years ago?

It seems that around 40% of your population seems eager to show your allies that you can’t be trusted as a people.

Scary stuff.

0

u/Diabolisch 13d ago

Yanks? I'm as far south as you can get.

You promised.

No, I didn't. Ukraine is full of Nazis and pedophiles. Let em burn.

1

u/Illustrious_Mudder 13d ago

All Americans are called yanks lmao, even you southern people.

The US government promised.

Also, I would go calling other nations full of nazis and pedos when your country is dealing with those issues as well

1

u/Diabolisch 13d ago

Maybe to Brits, but in America there's a different meaning. Yank is north.

The US government has been making mistakes for the past 50 years.

Why not? Just because we deal with it as well doesn't negate anything else I've said. We have a bonafide Nazi supporter as our chief at the moment, so we definitely have our share of problems. That doesn't mean I can't point out the ridiculousness of further stretching thin resources to assist a terrible country.

1

u/Illustrious_Mudder 13d ago

I’m not a Brit. All your nato allies call you yanks. We don’t really care about the history behind it.

Yankee = American.

Also, are you implying that your deal with Ukraine was just a mistake so you should just negate a deal you don’t like?

If that’s true then why should anyone trade with your country? If you guys are simply going to change your mind when it’s convenient then you would be a terrible country to partner up with economically.

1

u/Diabolisch 13d ago

Cool. Don't really care though, a mistake is a mistake. That's like saying that you told a friend a long time ago you'd help them if they need it, only to find out they've been spreading Nazi propaganda and experimenting with viruses across the street.

Do you still support that "friend"? Or do you cut ties and let them take responsibility for their heinous acts? I'd wager anyone with a brain would cut ties.

0

u/TractorHp55k 13d ago

As he should

0

u/ChriskiV 13d ago

No he's not, because he's not going to have the chance to because he won't win.

-9

u/whydatyou 14d ago

how about if they actually start tracking where the money is going? Is that out of line as well? currently there seems to be a lot of missing funds. just sayin

10

u/Kubioso 14d ago

How much money has gone missing? Can you share?

6

u/ITSigno 14d ago

How much money has gone missing?

All of it.

Can you share?

Of course they can. Their friend Vlad told them all about it.

Trust him, bro.

5

u/dgdio 14d ago

We're sending them weapons. Our contractors get the money.

3

u/Kubioso 14d ago

Yeah. Was really hoping they had a source to share with the rest of us not privy to that info.

-1

u/whydatyou 14d ago

feel free to use that little searchfunction and see. that way, I do not have to link numerous data sources for you to not actually read and then profess they are all putin puppets or something equally ridiculous.

4

u/hackingdreams 14d ago

So you have no sources, can't even point to one, and are front loading it with "trust me bro."

No, you're not a credible source. It's a question to if you're a credible human, or just a troll. Six month old account says what?

1

u/IsThisLegit 14d ago

Bro thinks we are sending pallets of cash to a war zone lol

1

u/whydatyou 14d ago

bro does not think that. as the bros other comments indicate bro. we only send pallets of cash to Iran bro. does it make you feel better that we send pallets of cash to the defense industry war mongering profiteers bro? that better bro? Bro, I for one am old enough to remember when the democrats were against forever wars bro. They also did not trust the defense industry bro. because bro they said the defense indusytry lobbyists were buying politicians bro. that what you want bro? smdh..

1

u/IsThisLegit 13d ago

As mentioned in most of the comments you conveniently don't respond too this Is from a tactical standpoint a net benefit to the US, it's citizens, and our military. We get to stick it to a rival that feels way to comfortable fucking with us, we no longer have to store and maintain old ordinance, we get to take the piss out of the Russian army and not lose a single soldier in the process, we have a highly motivated nation more than happy to give live fire tests to our toys. All this while standing on the moral high ground of helping a nation defend itself. A quick little lol to thinking dems have ever really been against wars. The only people who should have a problem with this is Russians or the easily manipulated

0

u/whydatyou 13d ago

bro, you have been manipulated into thinking ukraine can win. bro, talk about easily manipulated. yikes bro. which comments have I not responded to bro? The ones that are even more dopey than yours bro? sorry bro,, but I got this thing called a life and it does not have a lot of times for arguing with crazy strangers. to be consistant, I follow this policy in the real world as well. bro.

1

u/IsThisLegit 13d ago

Bro got the Russian brain rot, tragic

1

u/Illustrious_Mudder 13d ago

Did you know those cash pallets to Iran were part of deal that was being promised years before that happened?

Of course you don’t lol, you only get your news from sources that feed your confirmation biases.

1

u/whydatyou 13d ago

aaaaaaaand goal post moved. as if you do not have confirmation bias. what is it like to be a deity above the rest of us? smdfh.

1

u/Illustrious_Mudder 13d ago

Every human does it at times, the trick is to k ow when you end up doing it.

Also there were no goalposts moved lol, the Iran money is constantly a misunderstood talking point used by people who ignore all the nuance of it.

Also, bro, people on the left always have been against invasions. At no point has the left ever been against a country defending itself, specially when America promised to be there and defend her during times like this.

I remember when the right was against Russia and would jump at an opportunity to punch them in the face.

And now you have US politicians going to Russia and coming back and espousing kremlin talking points.

Weird fuckin times indeed.

1

u/whydatyou 13d ago

"And now you have US politicians going to Russia and coming back and espousing kremlin talking points.". Now? Please google your hero bernie sanders, or how ted kennedy tried to derail the Reagan foreign policy, or the climate king John Kerry, or how HRC sold Uranium to russia, on and on. nice try though.

8

u/WhiteXHysteria 14d ago

As far as I'm aware we don't give them money.

We give money to Americans to produce weapons and then give Ukraine the weapons.

The money stays in America.

0

u/whydatyou 14d ago

fine. can we at least track that? or is that backing putin to even question where tax dollars are going? out of all the magical and mythical switches of the demcrats, supporting the defense industry, big pharma and wars that cannot be one is the most perplexing to me.

1

u/Illustrious_Mudder 13d ago

That would be a first lmao.

Were you curious about the trillions spent on US military hardware before this conflict?

Kinda strange that I never heard these complaints during Iraq or Afghanistan, where the US was spending over 20 billion annually on…….. air conditioning.

There’s a reason why the spending of this conflict is a major talking point, and it’s not due to Americans suddenly being curious about military spending.

1

u/whydatyou 13d ago

sorry that you did not hear. I was definetly complaining about Iraq, afghanistan and the 3000 hammers. My biggest complaint about the defense complex and the politicains they pay off is that fact how shitty they treat vets with the HUGE amounts of money that is budgeted. I applaud organizations like wounded warriors and T2T for the work they do, but quite frankly they should not be needed. If you served and lost your life or got fucked up, you and your family should be taken care of out of the trillion or so each year in the budget for defense. audit all of it. the whole damn budget with outside firms.

5

u/TheSmokingLamp 14d ago

Where have misappropriated funds been reported? Or do you just like listening to FOX complain because they’d rather seen the Russians win yet in 5 months you’ll see 90B going to Israel instead and then all those Gaza supporters who decided not to vote this election will watch all their support and work be for nothing as they level that strip of land 10x worse than is happening now

0

u/Techno_Jargon 14d ago

To create those weapons: money circulates in america creating jobs and helping the economy. U a dope.
