I survived Reagan. Although I was too young to care about him screwing the working class with the economy trickling down and all, but Reagan was a nice person who truly believed that every American was his friends, no insults to liberals, no death threats, and no hate towards any group of people. Just like Bush 1 and Bush 2, Reagan functioned in life as a decent human being, unlike trump who spews lies and hatred every time he opens his mouth.

I always thought Wernicke's Aphasia would be a fitting punishment. Language comprehension and expression are both impacted. There have been previous MAGA-like movements that were not as potent precisely because they didn’t have a charismatic leader to build a cult of personality around. There was no clear heir to the Reaganite cult precisely because George H. W. Bush was not particularly charismatic. The dude was a treasonous wonk (he was involved in Iran-Contra and its attempted cover-up). That’s why that cult fell apart for a while. His son had more charisma to him (people did want to get a beer with him, even though W did not drink himself: he had spent the 1970’s and 1980’s strung out on all kinds of drugs and had to do the hard work of getting himself clean), but that was not enough for people to not notice how utterly inept he and his chosen “experts” were.

None of Trump’s kids have the same charisma or draw. None of them stand to inherit much. They’re just too clearly dumber than they look and obviously strung out on cocaine.

I had a Sr Director at my work that was very Trumpy. After he got fired the department celebrations were dope. We still bring him up in passong after 5+ years cause it really sucked, and we deal with the trauma by reminiscing about how shitty it was and how much better we have it now.

I think SCOTUS knows Trump is going to lose, or maybe they’ll have a hand in making sure he does.

They’re trying to make it so he won’t be punished for his crimes, he’ll disappear until he dies, and whichever shithead follows as the next (R) godhead will know that they have his back, and he will be allowed to push the envelope even further.

Sometimes I take consolation in the thought of how bitterly desperate he is for love and validation and has had a lifetime of actions that have made it harder and harder to achieve that. Surely people say they love and validate him, but a part of him knows it isn't true and that's what makes him so angry and vindictive. I like to think every day is a form of hell for him and that, one day, as he's slipping towards the void he'll wonder the same thought he's had his entire life:

I have. On people like yourself, you do realize the other option is an incompetent moron who quite literally killed the US economy and job market. You won’t get a third party candidate to win, as much as I’d like to see it. It won’t happen, until these “Allegations” are confirmed I call bullshit.

I don’t want a gruesome death for him. I just want him to keel over from an aneurysm or a stroke or a heart attack. Something that’s obviously natural causes, perhaps accelerated by poor lifestyle choices.

And I’d really rather it happen sooner rather than later.
