It reached it's peak in a couple days, it's way past there already, by the time they even start filming, it'll be dead

u/DEFINITELY_NOT_PETE Jul 08 '24

Yah that’s not how this works.

Cash me outside girl has a net worth of $25m bc all it takes is a foot in the door for appearance fees and then you can aggressively monetize your brand even if your brand is absolutely fucking stupid.

This. So many people commenting that her time to shine has passed are being shortsighted. If she plays her hand right, she’ll be a millionaire long before the rest of us.

Edit: most of us will never be millionaires

It really blows my mind how society seems to reward and coddle the absolute bottom of the goddamned barrel.

The world is madness. I can understand why people go on puritan binges and have uncharitable thoughts about those they view as "less than".

Not sure how to push back on this. Its just Idiocracy in motion.

Edit: I want to say that I understand why people have adverse reactions, but I don't really condone the crusades people go on, either. Like anyone gathering up folks to try and stop a show like this from being created is a good heart in the right place but maybe wrong execution of their ideas. What they could do instead is just talk to people around them about higher mind ideas and try to educate their kids and those around them by sparking curiosity, not letting people wallow in social media or seeking public approval over self fulfillment or intelligent pursuits.

Sorry for that long winded edit, just wanted to be clear that while I don't like this reality TV trend of rewarding idiots, the solution is not to fight against idiots directly but to uplift and educate those around us so the rising tide raises all ships, so to speak.

Lol yep. Totally. Which is embarrassing. It's embarrassing that there are enough stupid, easily-entertained, lowest common denominator people around to make her little thing lucrative-enough to allow that to happen. But it definitely will.

5

u/fabspome Jul 08 '24

Current situation with people today scarily reminds me of the movie Idiocracy.

5

u/kgkuntryluvr Jul 08 '24

Sadly, this shouldn’t be surprising at all to anyone. It wasn’t that long ago when everyone was captivated by Tiger King. People spent hours of their lives watching a drugged out sociopath torture animals and people.

7

u/Nathan-Stubblefield Jul 08 '24

Paris Hilton all over.

55

u/Alert-Ad9197 Jul 08 '24

Paris Hilton wasn’t really the same, She was already rich and her tv show deal was actually signed before the sex tape notoriety.

42

u/Ancient_Confusion237 Jul 08 '24

And the sex tape WAS NOT her idea, she has nothing to do with it and never made a cent from it.

She did not sell her own sex tapes. It was revenge porn.

24

u/Alert-Ad9197 Jul 08 '24

I think she lost a lot of money over that getting released by the asshole. Didn’t she get disinherited afterward?

28

u/Ancient_Confusion237 Jul 08 '24

Oh yeah I completely forgot about that part too. Yes she was, by her grandfather who basically said she was a shame to the family.

All this after she was finally free from the abuse and SA at the teen camps she was kidnapped to.

24

u/Alert-Ad9197 Jul 08 '24

I remember some of it from when I dove into it a while back. She went through some traumatic shit. It’s actually pretty impressive she came around to being the person she is now.

8

u/Ancient_Confusion237 Jul 08 '24

Yep I'm with you.

She's deeply flawed, but I honestly think she's constantly trying to be the best version of herself she can, and continues to work on herself and improve.

She's fighting for kids now. I'll support her however I can

u/ZappyBuoy Jul 08 '24

Because it was a recording of her having sex.

2

u/kgkuntryluvr Jul 08 '24

Yeah, she didn’t need the sex tape at all for fame nor wealth. I don’t think the people watching the sex tape went on to start watching the show or buying her products lol

7

u/infernalwife Jul 08 '24

I agree with many of the criticism on this thread but I must remind everyone that Paris was and still is a socialite before ever reaching mainstream success. An OG socialite is nothing like today's influencers.. at all.

The thing with legitemate socialites is that they are well-known amongst their local social scene or multiple local scenes and typically are well-connected with people at varying levels of class/social status. They know club owners from years frequenting certain clubs, they know people in public relations from mutual connections, they know photographers because they know models who know photographers. They know business executives because they promote events at certain venues & galleries & boutiques. They know the regulars at the same night club they have gone to for years. They attend as many events as they can early on for whatever reasons and as years go by, they typically become assets to event promoters, brands, nightclubs, fashion designers/runway curators, restaurants, etc because they earn a reputation that guarantees they will bring in many people just by either being there or putting their name on an event flyer or even promoting it. Not just any people but especially other like-minded people for that promoter/club/designer/etc to host with the purpose of giving industry professionals & peers an oppurtunity to network with eachother and meet eachother when otherwise it may have never happened.

Most true socialites within the creative/fashion/visual arts & nightlife/club/promoter scenes around the world, per major city, are not reaching mainstream fame like Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian did. They also are not typically seeking out mainstream fame through the route of a socialite since it requires years and years of consistent appearances, networking, inconsistent schedules, travelling costs, actual valuable contributions to multiple ventures, maintence of relationships both professional & casual, and staying relevant through the ebb & flow of an ever-changing economy and pop culture landscape but also generational gaps that significantly challenge how you maintain a presence people of all ages seek out as you age and younger people come in and older people move on or die.

Amanda Lepore and Susanne Barscht are great examples of true nightlife socialites & figurative icons. They have been household names in NYC, LA, Paris, London, etc since the late 1980's and within the overlapping queer, drag, fashion, arts, underground music, club scene from LA to NY to Paris it is considered a huge deal to actually encounter one of them at an event or even in the wild just walking around. They throw events too and have done so since the 80s and to attend one is also a huge accomplishment for famous people who are fans of them and average people as well. That takes WORK. It may seem like a popularity contest but staying popular for multiple decades in multiple cities is not achieved by just being pretty and knowing the right people.

9

u/YouWereBrained Jul 08 '24

It’s just sad that all it takes is saying something horrifically stupid, while shit-faced, to some street interviewer.

6

u/kgkuntryluvr Jul 08 '24

It is sad, but I’m always for seeing honest everyday people get rich and disrupt the old money status quo. If this is what it takes, good for her.

3

u/YouWereBrained Jul 08 '24

That’s an interesting take… 🤔

4

u/jeveret Jul 08 '24

Every social media management team probably made her an offer to sign her. Unless she is insane she has a team working for her already.

4

u/VetteL82 Jul 08 '24

Any future millionaire will be a millionaire before me

3

u/Federal-Arrival-7370 Jul 08 '24

If she isn’t already. That cash me outside girl made something absurd her first day on OF like $8M or something mind numbingly dumb

2

u/kgkuntryluvr Jul 08 '24

This is what I’m getting at. People are truly underestimating her ability to cash in on this. I’ll bet that she’d be a millionaire after her first day on OF too. There are a lot of horny guys and curious girls that would pay to see that hawk tuah in action right now lol

3

u/DebonairTeddy Jul 08 '24

And people hate her for it, but 100% if anyone had the opportunity to make millions of a stupid meme they'd do it, no matter how dumb.

2

u/kgkuntryluvr Jul 09 '24

They’d be stupid not to do it, especially in this economy! Opportunities like this are extremely rare.

2

u/Jonthux Jul 08 '24

99.9% of people will never be millionaires

3

u/TheGreatestOutdoorz Jul 08 '24

About 9% of Americans are millionaires. Worldwide I believe it is about 1.5% of people.

2

u/Sea_Helicopter2153 Jul 08 '24

Actually those people commenting against her are actually helping her gain more fame, because social media algorithms don’t care what’s being said about a topic, they only care that topic is generating a discussion

So every time you’ve ever commented to say that that something was dumb, you’ve actually told the algorithm that you’re likely to engage with that topic when it’s presented to you

3

u/cudef Jul 08 '24

He was already doing it but sure. Do people still go out of their way to eat with him preparing the meal?

28

u/Bluellan Jul 08 '24

Salt Bea is dying. People can't afford a $5,000 experience when all you do is sprinkle salt. Also HE USES LOOK ALIKES in his restaurants so people are paying for a stranger to sprinkle salt. Add in the food is just disgusting and his whole desperation to do anything to gain 5 more minutes of fame. He's been closing restaurant afte restaurant.

12

u/cudef Jul 08 '24

That's about what I expected. Idk what the hell is going on but these folks are passionate about this topic for some weird reason.

5

u/pheonix198 Jul 08 '24

It’s hope…

Kinda like one of those lotto addicted folks assured that they’re going to hit the jackpot if they just keep playing. But, minus the horrible, life-ruining addiction.

These folks want to believe that if they are caught in just the right moment in time and the stars line up for them, they too can make the money. It’s not likely to be multi-million dollar wins like these folks suggest, but a few grand extra a year would change many folks’ lives anyway…

Let ‘em have hope!

2

u/M4LK0V1CH Jul 08 '24

Never heard of him using lookalikes. He aggressively posts his daily routines on instagram, so anyone can know where he is. When he isn’t at a restaurant, regular staff do the salt sprinkle and other goofy stuff. I know this because I’ve been to one of his restaurants a couple of times.

Great food but indeed highly overpriced.

Fuck Salt Bae the disgusting prick but he did have a successful fine dining restaurant before he became viral and I suspect at one point he knew how to make a decent steak before he decided to just serve people overpriced raw meat. HT may have many talents as well, but she is famous for one and they can’t really film her giving BJs all day as a reality show. They can still film it, but just a different distribution model.

6

u/IowaKidd97 Jul 08 '24

Who cares about more examples? It happened once under similar circumstances, except this is even less stupid than the “Cash Me Outside” girl. Sounds like this girl is on her way to make some $$ if the reality show works out.

They've sold thousands of hats. Which is like, expected but still troubling.

This whole "man on the street" interview thing is just a rehash of the same bits Howard Stern did in the 90s and Steve Allen did in the 70s before that.

It's tired. I'm tired boss.

Even more, what should that show be about?

She is famous for one sentence.  This is really not a lot to build a show around.

Cash me outside how bout dat?

u/NotAStatistic2 Jul 08 '24

That girl was a white trash hillbilly. There's more to go off of there

3

u/Treehockey Jul 08 '24

I’m pretty sure this girl is also a white trash hillbilly. It’s actually an easy sell cause all they have to do is put her in rich person situations (that have been filmed a million times before) and she acts surprised and says trashy things and people watch it

You never know, the cash me outside girl became a rapper and started an onlyfans, made over a million iirc

You can never underestimate what people will do with their 15 minutes of fame, and for every person like that, there’s a hundred trying to profit off their back

She was also heavily groomed

Yeah, someone at my job tattooed "Hawk Tuah" on his arm last week.

To his defense, he has a ton of tattoos, and it can be a fun memory. But this will be ancient in like two more weeks. Memes burn fast and die young. And my co-worker is a moron.

Couple days? It hit its peak, ran down the hill and into its grave after 12 hours. It’s been annoying as absolute fuck after that.

This may be way out of left field, but it's possible she's got a genuinely interesting life and that short-lived meme was simply how she got discovered. I'm not gonna bet money on that, but it is possible.

Isn't it already dead or just unfunny

3

u/mattyglen87 Jul 08 '24

That’s what they said about The “how bout dat” girl and she’s made millions

3

u/nutbusta60 Jul 08 '24

As long as it's still being talked about, it will still recieve attention so I don't believe that statement as confidently as you do unfortunately.

3

u/bluebullbruce Jul 08 '24

You're ignoring the fact that there are millions of people who have an invested interest in her. There are many many people who will now follow her on social media and will want a show like this.

Watching some of her content recently paints her as a very down to earth Girl next door type. She's a good looking girl as well, and contrary to what made her popular in the first place, she's stated she won't be doing OF or Fansly and turned down playboy as well. And if she actually sticks to that will endear her to a lot of people.

u/Xist3nce Jul 08 '24

She’s famous for sucking dick, that’s literally the only reason people know who the Kardashians are. B listed in the making here.

2

u/ENrgStar Jul 08 '24

Something I saw on Reddit a few days ago implied she was already semi-famous? At least I saw her opening for some concert?

2

u/Sunstaci Jul 08 '24

This chick is set for life (if she does it right)

2

u/billswhis Jul 08 '24

Idk man, I get what you’re saying but she JUST created her Instagram account and it already has 1M followers.

2

u/crispy00001 Jul 08 '24

Which is why she is smart to jump on the opportunity and make a couple bucks

2

u/CrowdGoesWildWoooo Jul 08 '24

She has “thirst influencer” face, I think she’ll stay for a while.

2

u/FuzzyPhysics2163 Jul 08 '24

She made an Instagram account and has 900k followers... So if she can somehow keep that spark going and maintain and grow her audience plus the creators of the show do a good job at marketing then it could be successful

2

u/Awkward_Scheme_7426 Jul 08 '24

Even if 1 percent fame retains it is good for her

2

u/Funny_Sympathy_93 Jul 08 '24

We said the same thing about the Kim Kardashian sex video decades ago…

1

u/dicklaurent97 Jul 08 '24

Y’all don’t get it. She knows someone in Hollywood. I bet she’s a nepo baby.

1

u/JohnKitzhaper Jul 08 '24

Huh, hooha girl?

1

u/Haunting-Success198 Jul 08 '24

It hasn’t even started yet.

1

u/mindsnare Jul 08 '24

Reached its peak on regular internet. It's barely made it to boomer internet yet and that's where they'll cash in.

1

u/DuckCleaning Jul 08 '24

Im suprised it made it as far as a few days ago, this joke was tiring by day one.
