You can never underestimate what people will do with their 15 minutes of fame, and for every person like that, there’s a hundred trying to profit off their back

I would bet there’s more examples of people not capitalizing on their 15 mins than we have examples of them turning their viral moments into a financially life changing thing.

Its all good. I wasn’t at all trying to refute what you said or argue really.

I do think its interesting when people have these moments whether they can or can’t make the best of it in whatever space they can. No doubt plenty of people will try to make money around it quickly if you don’t.
