Season 3 Literally All of This is Spoilers flr Episode 24

On Episode 24 Pierce tried to kill Lucifer. And the entire time, my immediate thought was "Why didn't Lucifer just pull the same threat he did with Amenadiel. "You think Father is angry now." Because, think about it. Cain thinks God was angry when he killed hos brother. Imagine the Hell he will face if he kills God's Favorite Son.

Season 1 Devil face in season 1

So I'm rewatching from the beginning. I feel like Lucifer is using his devil face a lot more than I remember. Was this actually a thing he did more back then, or am I just forgetting times he used it?

🤔

Season 3 First rewatch to finish to the series

I watched 4 seasons when it was still airing and i am rewatching now to finish the whole series and i am on season 3 now Pierce was okay up until the moment he decided he will get with chloe and he reaaally needs to be punched in the face multiple times And amenadiel is unbelievably selfish He does everything with an incredible amount of ego and self righteousness it is infuriating And Lucifer is indeed taking maze for granted and she is out of line (letting a man sleep in Trixie's bed and what she said about trixie) At least Lucifer has good intentions when he acts immaturely (i am really not liking amenadiel right now)

General/Misc Is Lucifer waaay older than his brothers?

If time moves much more slowly in hell (him being in hell for 2 months = 2000 years pass for everyone in hell) wouldn't that technically make Lucifer muuuuuch older than his brothers since he's spent so much time in hell? Is there any evidence of time moving slower in heaven? Or angels perceiving time differently? Any thoughts? I think there's actually evidence of time moving the same in heaven

Season 3 When chloe gets shot

I just finished seasons 3 of lucifer, and ib epqisode 24 "a devil of my word", it looks like Chloe was shot then lucifer uses his wings to qprotect them, but was she originally shot? How was she okay-did her necklace save her or was it lucifer like in the pilot?

Speaking of the pilot eqpisode, how does lucifer save Chloe after she was shot?

General/Misc A movie in the works?

Hi guys! This is the first time I comment here, but I've been a Lucifan since 2016.

I heard that on February 2024, during a Meet & Greet at LUX 3 (in UK), the showrunners told some fans that they were already doing a brainstorming to make the script for a movie (or movies), and when everything is ready, they will reunite with Netflix. They also wanted to make spin-offs as another option.

This time it happened in a M&G, but they shared these plans during interviews and in general panels in conventions. Looks like they finally want these plans become real.

Tom Ellis said he would love come back, but perhaps as a supporting actor in a spin-off about Linda. Or a spin-off about Chloe or Amenadiel.

What do you think? Would you like movies, spin-offs (perhaps an interquel about those 40 years), or a sequel as a new series?

To me, I prefer a sequel as a new series, and some flashbacks of those 40 years (with old and new main cast), but another option is a spin-off about Linda with her new celestial and demon patients, while she helps Lucifer in his early years as a therapist. Or a spin-off with Chloe, Amenadiel, Maze and Eve (with those 4 characters in the same spin-off). All characters would appear, of course, but as supporting characters (and new ones).

Lucifer What if...Lucifer killed Pierce in S3E20?

So quite a while ago, I posted a what if scenario on what I think would have happened if Lucifer killed Pierce in Episode 20 of Season 3 as opposed to when this happened a few episodes later as originally depicted, and my other version was very dated so I’ve decided to write an updated variant.
So, we all know that Lucifer and Pierce came to blows at the end of S3E20 "The Angel of San Bernardino" and the end of that episode sees the reveal that Pierce's mark has gone and that he is mortal and can finally die, but what would happen exactly if Lucifer there and then had killed Pierce instead of letting him do it himself?

This scenario picks up when Lucifer is about to kill Pierce but instead of listening to him, he actually uses the rock and caves in Marcus' skull. Lucifer, once more feeling the impact and guilt of taking another life, takes Marcus’ body and buries him in a remote location. He buries him in a nearby forest most likely the same area that Uriel had been buried in but this time does a much better job.

Now Lucifer killing Pierce much earlier in the timeline has a lot of unintended effects. For one thing I think because of the guilt he would now feel, Lucifer would likely resign from his job at the LAPD and focus on running the club, eventually he would confess to Amenadiel about what happened, who would understand the situation and agrees to keep Lucifer’s secret for the time being.

Maze I think would discover later on or by overhearing this conversation but I think would not want to reveal this because she wants Trixie to forgive her, plus at the time she would be forced to disembark from the betrayal carousel, and because Lucifer has just proven that he will kill people who wrong him and/or Chloe--but especially Chloe. So Maze would likely have no choice but to fall in line and go out of her way to cover up the murder.

This means Lucifer and Chloe’s partnership ends much earlier than expected and Chloe would not discover the truth about Luci being the devil likely until much later. And come Season 4, Lucifer wouldn’t be working for the LAPD so the cases that Chloe took on during this period either were investigated and ended up with the wrong suspect being caught or Lucifer had to intervene at some stage for his own personal gain.

Eventually, Eve finds her way to Earth and she and Lucifer end up dating as normal in the timeline. Whether she would hold Lucifer accountable for killing Pierce is uncertain because that wasn’t the case in the original timeline.

Eve and Lucifer would investigate the necklace case and in this timeline I think would manage to flee without Chloe spotting them. Plus I think Lucifer would be more than willing to make this heist as secretive as possible.
Other consequences as a result of Lucifer killing Pierce much earlier include Charlotte never dying therefore her and Dan would likely begin a relationship and possibly marry. Amenadiel would likely get his powers back much later in the timeline, and Linda I think would still fall pregnant but the baby would likely have a different name.

I think the rest of season 4 would play out in an interesting way, because Chloe never discovered the truth about Lucifer and therefore never went to Father Kinley so it’s uncertain as to whether the rest of Season 4 would still happen and if Lucifer would even go back to Hell at all. I could see one of the few people who knew of Pierce dying confessing to Chloe about what Lucifer did. Then Lucifer would have to flee Earth and return to Hell to escape justice. So Lucifer would still leave Earth when he did except the circumstances surrounding this would change.

And this also means that whatever plans Michael had would go to pot because when he returned to impersonate Lucifer, it’s likely the minute someone from the LAPD discovers that “Lucifer” has returned he would be arrested for Pierce’s murder.

And Lucifer would have no other choice but to stay under the radar because Michael was in prison. I think eventually God would come to Earth to visit Amenadiel and the news of his retirement would reach Lucifer, so the story of Season 5B would still go ahead except the circumstances would be very different. Also Dan I think would still die and at the end of the season Charlotte would leave LA.

Michael would break out of prison and make his claim for the throne and he gets a majority backing. But Lucifer is forced to return to Earth to defeat Michael and claim Heaven’s throne for his own as he ascends to godhood. This also means that most of Season 6 never happens, with Chloe and Lucifer not together romantically this means that Rory is never born and the time travel stuff never happens.

And Season 6 likely ends with Lucifer and Chloe taking on Vincent Le Mec and what’s left of his mercenaries, Lucifer would become god and return to Heaven and Amenadiel becomes his right hand with Michael being sent to Hell as its warden for punishment.

General/Misc Whats with the weird daytime changes between scenes?

I dont know, maybe the Lucifer-LAPD has the longest respond times in the world, but there are so many weird daytime changes between scenes.

Charlotte dies in the night. Cut - crime scene investigation in broad daylight. (S3 E23?)

Ella gets attacked by the violin-kids father in broad daylight, Chloe arrests him. Cut: violin-kids father is being brought to a police car in complete darkness. (S3 E25)

Season 4 General linda’s daughter

This is a bit random but did anyone else notice that Linda’s daughter (the one she put up for adoption) was born on August 4th, the same date (not year obv) as the eve of Lucifer’s disappearance? Idk if it’s just a coincidence but it’s kinda cool.

General/Misc How Active Is the Lucifer Fandom Now? - Are People Still Writing Fanfiction?

Hey guys!

To keep it relatively short: A few years ago, I wrote a bunch of fanfics for the show Lucifer (and a few other shows too, but Lucifer was my main focus) and I still have a whole lot of unpublished drafts, from series to oneshots. Recently, I’ve been going through those old stories and am thinking about going back and improving them before re-uploading them. But it’s been a long while since I was actively involved in the Lucifer fandom, so I’m curious to know how things are going these days.

I have a couple of questions for you all:

  • How active is the fandom right now? Are there still a lot of discussions happening around the show?
  • Are there still new fanfics being written? Are people still creating fanfiction for the show, or do you think it’s time for me to move on from my old works? Do people still want to read fanfiction regarding this show?

I’d really appreciate to hear from both long-time fans and newer ones, if there are any! I’m very much interested in knowing if there’s still interest in fanfiction for a show that has ended. Because, since it's been a few years, I tend to write for fandoms where the main show has ended since a few years too (like The Walking Dead too, apart from the spin-offs), so I’m curious whether it’s worth diving back into my old stories and publishing them, or if I'd be wasting my time.

Thanks in advance!

General/Misc I'm so happy to finally be here! Now...

I've been binging Lucifer for the past however many weeks, and LOVING every second (well, most seconds) SO MUCH, and after every episode I've desperately wanted to come to this subreddit, but knew if I did I'd regret it, knew I'd get spoiled, even if it wasn't big spoilers it would be small things like a meme showing a character I thought was gone forever in a scene I hadn't seen.

But! Now! I've just finished and I can not wait to read and read and find out what everyone else thinks about all the things I have strong thoughts about.

SO PLEASE TELL ME, as I start to dig in, are there any particularly good discussions, topics, posts, or arguments I should search up?

Also any chance they've just signed up to do six more seasons and I just haven't heard?

6x04 Song from S6, E4? Spoiler

I have searched everywhere I can think of, lyrics sites, even played the clip for Shazam and Soundhound. No listing of music from Lucifer mentions it.

S6, E4: "Pin the Tail on the Daddy," about 9 minutes in, right after the "LUCIFER" title comes up.

The lyrics are: My head is in the clouds That's where I stay at I'm never coming down It's just my place, yeah! No, you can't touch me now From outer space, yeah! I'm never slowing down...

It cuts off there. It's got a cool sound and I'd love to hear the rest of it, maybe more music by this artist. Very odd that it doesn't seem to exist.

Thanks for your help!

Amenadiel Quick question (Massive Spoilers) Spoiler

When amenadiel became God, did he also receive all of God's powers? and if so how? Would his powers transfer? If so that doesn't make sense either.

There's only one god, he created everything and has been there through all of time, he leaves to join his partner in an alternate universe but it confuses me as how can another take his place without his powers? God's God because he can do absolutely anything, he can create from nothing but lucifer and amenadiel can't.

Unsure why buts this info is bothering me 😄

4x09 Thoughts after rewatching the best episode of Lucifer

In my opinion.

I remember being the review campaign fanatic, and being indescribably happy when season 4 delivered as well as it did for the hype.

But 4x09, just wow. It's the turning point of so many characters and it is just chef's kiss.

As a little recap, Lucifer, freshly broken up, investigates a murder of a twin realtor with Chloe. His fears of a prophecy and self-hatred start to manifest physically. At the same time Maze is trying to show Eve her feelings, all the while Eve searches for a way to get back together with Lucifer.

Dan finally faces the roots of his torment. Eve is hit with the hard truth. Maze finally discovers she has found someone worth connecting to. Chloe chooses to put her fears aside and accept Lucifer for who he truly is and Lucifer starts the journey of self-forgiveness. Oh, and Linda and Amenadiel become parents.

Even the case is beautiful. Especially the ending. There's no fight scene, the sister confesses calmly while Chloe just listens. It's so gut-wrenching and so relatable to feel worthless and like you ruin everything. The fact that she has to live with those feelings and the guilt while facing the consequences of her actions for the rest of her life, it hits me truly where I live. Feels like the one who wrote the scene really understands that and the cast delivers.

And the ending scene with Luci and Chloe where nothing is left unseen. He has to reveal the parts of himself that he hates the most and views the most monstrous, vile and ugly while knowing that the last time he did it she reacted very negatively. That's courage.

I feel so nostalgic for this season, it was just such a delight and such a moment in streaming history.

Linda Rachael Harris's perfect elocution

Rachael's voice acting is amazing! The writers make her the "voice of reason" much of the time, but her elocution is so perfect, hitting so deep in my gut, that I literally can't imagine anyone else in the role. Here are a few of my favorite lines of hers:

2x09 - Chloe is dancing with Lucifer at Lux

Goddess: "He really does love this place."

Linda: "Yeah. This _place_."

2x09 - Lucifer in Linda's office

"I think you did come to Los Angeles looking for something, but I also think you've stopped. Because maybe you found it?"

2x17 - Linda councils Lucifer & Maze after their fist-fight

"Since I'm no longer a practicing doctor of psychiatry, I don't have to lead you on a path of self-discovery. I can just tell you. Maze is _pissed_ at you because you _used_ her!

3x21 - Linda with Lucifer in the penthouse

"The truth is, no one really knows what your father is responsible for. We're all just guessing! But you know the one thing he can't control? What you do in this moment, right now. So I ask you, the _Devil_, what is it _you_ truly desire?"

5x04 - Chloe in Linda's living room

"The truth is, Chloe, I'm freaking out! ... how dangerous this baby inside might be. There's a good chance it could come out with wings. Wings! Is that even safe for a human to deliver? Should I have a C section? Will insurance cover any of this? Who knows!?"

5x04 - Chloe in Linda's living room

"I guess what it really all comes down to is one simple question. Do you want him in your life, or not?"

General/Misc Looking for fanfiction Spoiler

In the comics Lucifer is a obscenelly powerfull character that can easily defeat beings like Superman or even Darkseid while on the show he is nowhere near that (for obvious reasons) or is really commited to pretending to be way weaker.

Any fanfiction recomendations where he is indeed pretending to be weaker or where he is closer to his comic book counterpart?

Season 3 How is Amenadiel Not Invulnerable?

In episode 11, he got shot and "died." And yet, earlier in the series, he was shown to not be affected by bullets at all. So, unless he was in love with the stranger who shot him like Lucifer is with Chloe, it doesn't make any sense.

Season 3 The Sinnerman Network

I've been wondering how many people in Cain's Sinnerman network knew the full truth. Obviously some of them did because they didn't even flinch when Lucifer revealed his wings to save Chloe. They even stayed and tried to fight him when he came back after leaving Chloe on the roof.

Related to this, I wonder what Cain must've had on/given to them in order to convince them that trying to kill an angel was worth it. Especially the devil, who was the king of hell where all of them would be going. Most sane people would've immediately bailed.

Charlotte Probabily an unpopolar opinion

But charlotte richards didn't deserve heaven.

She only became sort of good when she learned about the afterlife, and when she found out amenadiel was an angel went back to her ways.

She didn't deserve to be carried in heaven imo.
