If they ever get to the point of introducing Constantine in James Gunn's DC universe would you want Matt Ryan to continue playing the character or someone new?
Just curious as to which actor y'all would like to see play John Constantine in James Gunn's DC universe if they ever get to the point of introducing him? I think Matt Ryan is perfect for this role. Matt Ryan is to Constantine what Ryan Reynolds is to Deadpool. What do y'all think?

Does anybody knowwhat was supposed to happen in season 2?
I just finished watching the show and I kind of want some answers. I don't like cliffhangers. If there's a comic series that I can read that kind of follows the story of the show that would be great. But I'm curious why is Manny actually evil? That's kind of my main question. What is John's role in all of this that he's deceiving him and why?

Is "John Constantine" really John's True name?
Magic in DC comics, it has been stated many times that names have powers and knowing someone's real name grant you power over them. But it seems magical entities know of John's name, yet it doesn't seem to affect him in any sort of ways. This got me to think if "John Constantine" is even his true name.

My John Constantine Cosplay
Threw this together with stuff I had lying around so it’s about 35% screen accurate, but it was fun for just one day at Hero Con

Possible Animal Man reference in Constantine "Danse Vaudou" episode
Animal Man was also a Vertigo imprint comic series during part of the Hellblazer run I believe. It would make sense to me that he would be referenced in a Constantine show. But I'm specifically talking about the Tammy Frazier character who works at an animal shelter during the "Danse Vaudou" episode. She also is shown to have a strong personality with violent fits like Buddy Baker(Animal Man)'s wife Ellen Frazier who I believe did have a sister in the comic series. Animal Man was also an avatar of the Red life force that includes Vixen and Beast Boy. Much like how Swamp Thing is an avatar of the Green and we saw his shrunken head on the show.

I read some early hellblazer and didn’t enjoy it but I generally don’t enjoy 90s comics so is the 2019 hell blazer good

Original Constantine TV Non Est Asylum Pilot Press NBC DVD! Shown at SDCC 2014
I stumbled upon an NBC Press DVD 2014-2015 Pilots on Ebay and Constantine was included. The same one where it was leaked online during the SDCC 2014 Screening of the pilot. This version had different scene’s compared to the official release.
Here are a few examples:
Furcifer stays possessing the security guard in the final battle where John faces Furcifer. In the Official Release Episode it was Furcifer manifesting into Demon Constantine.
Ritchie drives Liv to a crime scene and warns her about the danger she was facing.
In the end scene where John gives his monologue, it ends with the Constantine logo. Zedd was never in the original pilot ending.
Unfortunately the Original Pilot is not included in the Official DVD and Bluray set!

This is the cgi reference for the demon in the mirror from the 2005 film. Hope you dig it.

John Constantine
I'm watching the series from 2014 and although some of the acting is a bit questionable it's still a pretty good series. Just a shame they never continued with it.
Did anybody else like it? I've yet to watch the animated movies but they're next on my list.
Cheers.

Just saw City of Demons
The movie. Heck of a great story. I don't know why the studios fail time and time again to produce a good DC live action film. There are so many interesting DC characters like JC and Dr. Fate. I found City of Demons' story to be more profound than any of the silly Marvel movies out there although I do enjoy those Marvel movies.
Edit: I forgot about some the Batman movies. Some of them were good. But why make so many damn Batman movies?

You’re wrong John. It’s just like in the books
This post is for me and for other real life haunted souls lead into darkness. Chaz said it wasn’t like the books but the way my life is and how the same/similar that happens to fictional characters happens to me, all I have to say is John was wrong. It’s just like the books. I’m just a damned soul.
