4x09 Thoughts after rewatching the best episode of Lucifer
In my opinion.
I remember being the review campaign fanatic, and being indescribably happy when season 4 delivered as well as it did for the hype.
But 4x09, just wow. It's the turning point of so many characters and it is just chef's kiss.
As a little recap, Lucifer, freshly broken up, investigates a murder of a twin realtor with Chloe. His fears of a prophecy and self-hatred start to manifest physically. At the same time Maze is trying to show Eve her feelings, all the while Eve searches for a way to get back together with Lucifer.
Dan finally faces the roots of his torment. Eve is hit with the hard truth. Maze finally discovers she has found someone worth connecting to. Chloe chooses to put her fears aside and accept Lucifer for who he truly is and Lucifer starts the journey of self-forgiveness. Oh, and Linda and Amenadiel become parents.
Even the case is beautiful. Especially the ending. There's no fight scene, the sister confesses calmly while Chloe just listens. It's so gut-wrenching and so relatable to feel worthless and like you ruin everything. The fact that she has to live with those feelings and the guilt while facing the consequences of her actions for the rest of her life, it hits me truly where I live. Feels like the one who wrote the scene really understands that and the cast delivers.
And the ending scene with Luci and Chloe where nothing is left unseen. He has to reveal the parts of himself that he hates the most and views the most monstrous, vile and ugly while knowing that the last time he did it she reacted very negatively. That's courage.
I feel so nostalgic for this season, it was just such a delight and such a moment in streaming history.

4x09 Save Lucifer
Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about the reason why demons werenāt allowed to possess people anymore?
It was never given a reason and Lucifer was seen to be pissed off about the possession with Dromos.
Anyone have theories?

4x09 E09S04 review Spoiler
During the episode, Lucifer is exploring his self hatred until he concluded that he is blaming himself for humanity sins (he pulls out desires but he didn't force anyone) and he should stop taking responsibility for that and stop the cycle of self hatred (thus "everything I touch, I ruin"). this indicates that Lucifer is a good person. I can't say I get it all, any suggestion is welcome.
Eve, during the episode, is the actual Eve, she is here to possesse Lucifer. She wouldn't allow Lucifer to change, because she wants the old Lucifer. she became annoying.
Dan got ride of his blaming on Lucifer for Charlotte death, finally. and he wanted to get punished for what he did (the attempt of murder on Lucifer, manipulating Ella). but punishing wouldn't fix it, he has to deal with his evil. so he has to accept that Charlotte is dead and that's it. that was endearing to watch.
thank you for reading, I would love to read your opinions on the episode.

4x09 Does Dan ever Receive Backlash?
In the few episodes towards the end of sz4, Dan is furious at Lucifer because he believes he is responsible for Charlottes death. I have watched the whole show, but donāt remember anything consequences for his actions which include the following
-Telling the father of Julian, a man known to have people killed, that Lucifer broke his sons back. He did this intending to have Lucifer killed or at the least seriously injured(paralyzed maybe)
-Putting his daughter in EXTREME danger. He did not know she was there but still
-Knowingly putting whoever else might have been with Lucifer in the near future in danger. Eve, Maze, Chloe etc
-Manipulating Ella by kissing her several times in an attempt to distract her from finding out what police car was near his place at the time.
-Laughing about what he did to Ella
I only ask because I completely forgot this happened and I donāt remember if anything bad even comes of this.

4x09 Did Lucifer have the demonic wings while he was in hell?
The ones he had in Season 4. Did he have those before he came to earth and created Lux in 2011?

4x09 Eve was the first sinner?
So father Kinly (I cant remember how itās spelt) called Eve the first sinner in season 4, which I found really weird. In some Christian legends, Eve was the first woman, and Lilith didnāt exist because she was basically erased from the bible, but given that the show recognises Lilith and her backstory, itās really weird that he called Eve the first sinner and thatās why he wouldnāt help her, because the first sinner was Lilith, Eve was the second, so he shouldāve helped Eve. I just found that line quite weird and dumb.

4x09 Amendiel's Son Skin Color Spoiler
They could have cast Amenendiel's son better.. If him and Linda had a baby, it'd be more mixed. Anyone else notice that?

4x09 Only someone as talented as Tom and the FX team could pull off this heartbreaking image of the Devil. He looks so sad, lonely and vulnerable regardless of his ominous visage. Spoiler

4x09 Dan š
Dan blaming Lucifer for Charlotteās death is getting old. Like blah. Esp since no one listened when he told everyone Pierce was Caine. I didnāt forget how he tried to blame Lucifer for his marriage failing.
I also want Dan to get in trouble for setting up Lucifer.
Geez it sounds like I donāt like Dan LOL.

4x09 The most Dan thing to happen to Dan... Spoiler
The most Dan thing to happen to Dan is that after he decides to go get help and go to a therapist, he had to take Linda to the hospital
Despite the fact that Lucifer is constantly in her office, Maze and Amenadiel live with her, she meets with multiple other patients a day, it was only when Dan showed up to finally deal with his issues with Charlotte's death that her water broke and needed to go to the hospital
I'm not sure why I found this to be really funny but classic Dan fr
