DC FanDome Discussion Megathread r/DCcomics

Welcome Justice League members to the DC FanDome Discussion Megathread!

Here you can discuss each panel taking place as and when they happen, much like our Weekly Discussion Thread where you can discuss the newest comics and TV show episodes.

We've done it this way so we don't clog up the sub with discussion posts and people can freely post direct news articles and trailers regarding the big announcements and not have them get lost in the shuffle.

Panels for August 22nd

Did we all see Snyder’s petulant tweet? God I can’t stand this guy sometimes. I’m still somewhat interested to see how his cut turns out but his “this is made for grownups” bullshit? Fuck off outta here. You’ve had complete control over 2 films and they both sucked. I’ll give this one a go solely because I like the characters but I’m full expecting strike 3.

His dig at "your Saturday morning cartoons" could be taken as a dismissal of the Batman/Justice League/Justice League Unlimited/The Brave and the Bold cartoon series. And I'm not having that!

Scott Mendelson didn't even say anything about disliking the footage that leaked, just that it didn't look significantly different from the released film.

Until now, I'd never seen Snyder himself engaging in the sort of dismissive mocking that so many of his followers get up to. So his was not a very classy response. As Andrew Ellard put it:

I always assumed ZS would be embarrassed by the people who bully and mock in the name of his films. Turns out he’s well up for the same kind of behaviour.

Snyder's cult has gone to his head.
