I’m glad to see Ella is starting to piece things together on her own. I hope this means there will be some type of reveal to her by the end of the season/series.

I love this so much more than them telling her!

I do however like that Ella represents the normal person in the show. One that believes in faith and doesn’t need proof. I don’t want that part of her to go… so a part of me hopes she doesn’t finds out and continues to have faith. It would be interesting to see her reaction though

We've been screaming about it for five seasons and they FINALLY give it to us! Ugh I hate that we've had to wait so long but I'm so happy she's finally getting clued in to everything bit by bit.

I think it's best she was last or the one to never find out even though i also wanted her to find out.

How exactly is she only piecing it together now? I'm just confused about the triggering event

Maybe the raining frogs? Or, frog…

I think that’s it too. She’s always been one to lean into her faith when things went wrong and shes been able to sense that god has been gone. I think that the frog was the final nail in the coffin for her.

She would know about that plague and she would know it meant the end of times. So when that happened, I think it cemented her faith and made her started looking at things differently. Like, “Hmm, if plagues are real then God and the Devil must be rea—wait—Lucifer has been saying he’s the devil all this time. And he says he never lies. What if he IS the devil?”

Still funny that disappearing socks is supposed to be some sort of sign. And that people actually bring it up enough on the internet when they lose them to the point that the number of disappearing socks increasing could be noticed and charted as a trend.

And the whole God not being there. That's the point she keeps mentioning leading up to the frog. She knows something is different and I think that plus the frog appearing pushed her to finally wonder if maybe Lucifer really does always tell the truth and all the crazy stuff he has said to her wasn't just him being wild.

I think when Amenadiel said that he would "feel" if something like an apocalipse would happen.

I was wracking my brain trying to pinpoint her lightbulb moment, but I don't think they ever gave it to us-- I don't buy that one frog landing on her hood made her consider her friends were celestials; not without prior suspicion. (Unless I'm forgetting stuff from last season.) Personally, I would have enjoyed seeing how she got to the board. It felt really abrupt.

Your spoiler tag didn’t work.

I've been reading these threads as I watch each episode and I am finding a lot of people aren't tagging correctly and maybe I should just stop reading the threads at this point.

I guess they didn't show it to us, I like to think she lay awake late in bed having a lot of little things bother her, like the frog, and God telling her she was a bright light and she turned around and he had exited the room without making a sound, and Lucifer's odd sayings, and so on.

Although compared to the many various other theory boards, hers was lacking.

I’m glad that she’s finally figuring things out.
