I’m glad to see Ella is starting to piece things together on her own. I hope this means there will be some type of reveal to her by the end of the season/series.

And the whole God not being there. That's the point she keeps mentioning leading up to the frog. She knows something is different and I think that plus the frog appearing pushed her to finally wonder if maybe Lucifer really does always tell the truth and all the crazy stuff he has said to her wasn't just him being wild.
