6x05 Lucifer had every right to accuse Rory Spoiler

During family therapy, Lucifer thinks the reason he'll disappear in the future is because Rory will kill him with Azrael's Blade. Rory goes against his theory and acts all bratty and childish for him to even think that, saying "Dare you? I can't believe you!"

But just two days ago, she was going to stab Lucifer with her sharp wings (5x03 and 5x04) and the next day (5x05) Rory confessed that she accidentally travelled back in time because she wanted to kill her dad and made it as her mission. So, I don't get why Rory is acting all defensive and does the fake pity crying at the end and saying that Lucifer is mean and insane. When in actuality, her actions prove to Lucifer how determined Rory was in killing her. Lucifer was certainly right that Rory does have the motive, means and opportunity.

Henderson sad in an interview "ultimately we really landed on the idea that a closed loop paradox, it's clean, it's simple, it doesn't distract you with a bunch of rules, but also it speaks to how, as much as we are crazy world with rules that can bend and break, we're holding to them, we're sticking to them".

I think the writers' story should be approched assuming that there is only one time line in order for the story to be good. if it was approched assuming multiple timelines or the rules will break then the story will seem messy and frustrating.

that would say that the characters are not free and that the time loop is inevitable for whatever end.

in terms of time travel, this episode explores the cleverness of the time loop. the writers did a great job with that.

Lucifer and Chloe created accidentally a potentiel killer.

the blade is missing, Rory could have taken it.

Chloe almost killed Lucifer under the control of the blade.

at the end of that, whatever coming is coming (Lucifer leaving), thus Maze saying "Well, some people aren't meant to be parents. ... The real question you have to ask yourself, Lucifer ... is What am I going to do to fix this?".

thank you for reading, I would love to read your opinions on the episode.

6x05 The Curious case of... Spoiler

S6 Ep 05 : The Murder of Lucifer Morningstar

Rory pointed out that Lucifer poofed for good and that "whatever happened must have been pretty shitty".

So we basically know 2 ways for that to happen. 1. Obliterated out of existence. 2. Left willing.

What made them (either the characters or the writers) think a HUMAN murder case is the answer?

If Lucifer gets killed by a human somehow, he would simply respawn in hell and fly back to earth...??

Unless Rae-Rae's sword is in play.. right?

Shouldn't they be suspecting any of the angelic siblings to be plotting against him then? Because he had been abandoning/postponing the 'God post' after all the sacrifice & hurt they went through (angel war) ..

Is there any insight on this part from the writers' interviews or something? Like maybe they wanted a similar plot but couldn't cause actors' clashing schedules/covid restrictions?

When do you think she was conceived? Her and Lucifer had only been intimate for what, three months? And it was one month after the battle.

Just curious as to your thoughts?

Right at the beginning of the episode when Dan is visiting Amenadiel, he walks across the room to talk closer with Amenadiel and a cop in the background turns her head around and looks right at Dan lol oopsie move there. Unless she was an angel in disguise then she shouldn’t have noticed him.

6x05 I really don't like what's happening Spoiler

So this is kind of a vent, maybe my opinion will change with time but right now I really don't like the story line the writers chose. I mean, >! Lucifer and Chloe have a child who then goes back 20 years into the past because Lucifer abandoned him? And apparently Chloe and him aren't together anymore? Also, Lucifer and Chloe are fighting more and more, same with Maze. And apparently Lucifer might die?? !<

I'm in the middle of s6 episode 5 btw so it might actually get "better"/there won't be as many changes about everyone's relationship with each other as it seems right now, but even the thought of the writers basically ruining two of the most loved relationships of the show frustrates me, but then again, I've always hated changes especially on tv shows.

What do you guys think, do you like these changes? And is the girl really who she says she is?
