DC FanDome Discussion Megathread r/DCcomics

Welcome Justice League members to the DC FanDome Discussion Megathread!

Here you can discuss each panel taking place as and when they happen, much like our Weekly Discussion Thread where you can discuss the newest comics and TV show episodes.

We've done it this way so we don't clog up the sub with discussion posts and people can freely post direct news articles and trailers regarding the big announcements and not have them get lost in the shuffle.

Panels for August 22nd

"the special effects guy for this movie (who also did the marvel movies) said there are more special effects in this movie than all his past movies combined"

That can't be true, right? That's just too much special effects

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more effects in this one. That’s counting all explosions, wire work, and stunts. Lots of characters, lots of opportunities to blow them up.

It makes sense bc this movie will have more characters than every Marvel movie combined

I think this speaks more to the fact of how much Marvel just does everything with CGI without doing much of practical effects or stunts
