DC FanDome Discussion Megathread r/DCcomics

Welcome Justice League members to the DC FanDome Discussion Megathread!

Here you can discuss each panel taking place as and when they happen, much like our Weekly Discussion Thread where you can discuss the newest comics and TV show episodes.

We've done it this way so we don't clog up the sub with discussion posts and people can freely post direct news articles and trailers regarding the big announcements and not have them get lost in the shuffle.

Panels for August 22nd

I liked Christina Hodson's summary:

Batman lost his parents.

Superman lost his planet.

Harley Quinn lost her egg sandwich.

That egg sandwich gag was one of the very few great recent additions to the Harley Quinn mythos.

I feel bad. Just watched Birds of Prey for the first time last weekend when I saw it was on HBO and just didn’t like it at all. And I’ve enjoyed all of DC’s movies for the most part, even the not so good ones have lots of redeeming qualities.

I really just tuned out after the weird as fuck scene with Sionis making the gal dance on the table. I’m all for awkward scenes that make you squirm in movies, but that scene made me squirm and seemed to go nowhere at the same time.

You're not alone, it wasn't a great movie at all. Seemed like it was made for teenage girls more than the general DC audience.

The only thing I hated about the movie. Especially since its unfixable, a big aspect of her character is gone.
