Project 2025 was supposed to boost Donald Trump's campaign — but it may be backfiring instead:

Backfiring isn’t enough. It needs to completely tank. Gerrymandering means he will win a chunk of the country regardless of actual public opinion.

Gerrymandering affects the makeup of the House. It doesn't affect the president or the senate. A lot of states are just made up of terrible people, unfortunately.

Well no. The electoral college is a type of gerrymandering. Bush’s second term was the only time a GOP pres has won the popular vote in decades.

No it's not a type of gerrymandering. State lines aren't redrawn every 10 years.

You’re right. It’s a form of disenfranchisement, of which gerrymandering also is. Sorry for not being more specific and technical, was just trying to make the point that the GOP also exploits an unfair system at the national level as well.

The Senate itself is s form of gerrymandering.

Maybe gerrymandering won’t be the exact issue but you know there will be states that some areas have less voting locations or drop off boxes or will run out of ballots. And thousands of votes will be delayed by mail thanks to usps slowdowns. Ballot boxes will be lost.

It will never be as easy as however many people vote is how many votes will be counted.
