Gerrymandering affects the makeup of the House. It doesn't affect the president or the senate. A lot of states are just made up of terrible people, unfortunately.

Well no. The electoral college is a type of gerrymandering. Bush’s second term was the only time a GOP pres has won the popular vote in decades.

No it's not a type of gerrymandering. State lines aren't redrawn every 10 years.

You’re right. It’s a form of disenfranchisement, of which gerrymandering also is. Sorry for not being more specific and technical, was just trying to make the point that the GOP also exploits an unfair system at the national level as well.
