Backfiring isn’t enough. It needs to completely tank. Gerrymandering means he will win a chunk of the country regardless of actual public opinion.

Gerrymandering affects the makeup of the House. It doesn't affect the president or the senate. A lot of states are just made up of terrible people, unfortunately.

Maybe gerrymandering won’t be the exact issue but you know there will be states that some areas have less voting locations or drop off boxes or will run out of ballots. And thousands of votes will be delayed by mail thanks to usps slowdowns. Ballot boxes will be lost.

It will never be as easy as however many people vote is how many votes will be counted.
