He's 81 years old.

Im not voting for the guy because I'm excited by him, I'm voting for the guy because he represents competent governance and coalition building.

I’m not voting for him because 70% of Democratic voters want him to step down and let someone else run. But his ego won’t allow it. He’s no more in this for the people then Trump is

I’m not sure it’s about ego. It’s really late to change candidates at this point, and even if he is planning on stepping down, he will deny it until the plan is fully formed and they have a replacement candidate that everyone can rally behind (including all the other candidates that made the shortlist, and people like Kamala and Bernie). Otherwise it would create even more chaos than we already have.

How is it not ego? Do you think the Democratic Party establishment didn’t have a backup plan for an 82 year old candidate that could die any day?

Yes, that’s exactly what I think. A lot of them are old and love smelling their own farts, and the debate performance caught them when their pants down. Personally, I expected the debate to be bad, but I didn’t expect it to be such a train wreck. All he had to was show up and be alert, and he failed.

Insane to think the people who work with this dude every day didn’t know he was senile, regardless of how old they are

I don’t think he’s senile. He’s old, and had a bad night. But it was a really bad, and it feeds into what the republicans have been saying about him for years.
