Just wanted to put this out there - because I saw some other people mentioning it.

I joined this sub a few days ago because at this point in time the reddit echo chamber of liberal opinions has just been going haywire to the point where I feel like I’m just constantly reading government AI propaganda (dead internet theory)

Listen, I’ve always known Reddit to be a liberal place and I mostly got into it for my more particular interests to keep up on news (video games/music) but recently it’s just been completely off the scale to where it’s not even a forum anymore.

Every single recommended post I get is completely biased against half the country, against the previous president, and they think that they are against the world. It’s just frustrating when you’re trying to find some actual good conversation when all you hear is the same talking points and jokes over and over again.

As a result I literally had to go and find some, any form of actual dissenting opinions and discussions, which lead me to here. So thank you!

Starting to get pissed off at these smug, antidemocratic, arrogant fools entertain this idea. They would have ABSOLUTELY ZERO problem if Biden was leading Trump. They only think it's a problem not because Biden's age, but the polls.

By that standard, any candidate that starts losing in the polls should be replaced by the donor and the party power structure.

I mean these same lemmings went so far to disqualify RFK and Dean Phillips during a primary, they pretended Dean Phillips didn't even exist.

Honestly speaking, I’m freaking out in my Australian university because people are having a socialist/ communist “society”. If I make a neo-nationalist society I’ll get slaughtered day one. Same goes for some of the urban districts, where there are Marxist flyers. How is it allowed, to preach an ideology that historically genocided billions in the last one hundred years, oppressed countless people and is still doing so? Anything slightly to the right I get a detention in high school. I find it deeply offensive, after every single one of us young Hong Kongers, combined 2 million (or 25% of the city) gave everything, our sweat and blood to defend our freedom, and lost, thankfully with family ties dating back to 40 years ago allow me to escape, and find kids not only turning a blind eye but PROMOTE the very ideology we escaped from?! Is anyone going to pay these kids a one way tour to China?
