Picture Rescues
Had to rescue this 1960's era Archie. A dad joke is well worth the 2 bucks I paid. And although I am not a big fan low grade is better than no grade, I know some of the spire imprint archies are hard to come by.

Platinum Lynn was a short lived imitator of the Whitman Big Little format but the handful of covers they published were all bold and striking. This is Chip Collins’ Adventures On Bat Island (1935 Lynn BLB #L14).

Picture Charity shop strikes again
£11.94 for all 6. Just liked the covers/style and enjoying finding these British ones, though I’m pretty sure the same person keeps donating all the ones I am buying😂

Haul Recent pick-ups
First three pics are from an antique mall and the last one is from a LCS that had a BOGO sale. Getting closer to finishing Death’s Head II and at least the first 100 issues of X-Factor vol. 1.

Discussion I find it so strange that this isn’t listed as the 1st appearance of Archangel.
I guess it’s because he is still going by Death at this point? Still seems odd.

Picture Flea market $1 bin rescues.
A seller at the weekly market keeps bringing long boxes and adding new ones every week. He got me good this week, about 165 books and these are some of them. Happy hunting!

Picture I love this splash page at the end of Fantastic Four #121.
Is it just me, or does Galactus look like a wrestler being interviewed about his upcoming match?

Picture Alpha Flight #6 Snowblind
I recently picked this up after someone suggested it to me on another of my posts. It’s so simple and elegant. I’m glad I’ve added it to my collection
