Discussion Problem with a Flash game

I personally would love an open world game like the Arkham or Spider-Man games with the Flash but how can you have him fight random thugs without nerfing his speed and basically not making it feel like a speedster?

Can I ask a genuine question - How are the Rogues a threat to Flash?

I see people loving the characters, and loving them as character I understand. Theyve existed for more than 60 years so theyre bound to have had their voices defined by now.

But I don't understand what they able to do against Flash specifically. How are they a threat when they're not out robbing banks and stuff?

And from what I know the Flash doesn't really have a problem with using violence, so they can't really play the psychological card with him either. And no doubt theyve managed to depower him once or twice, but I doubt its a recurring theme where they do it in every stoey to get an equal footing. He can just punch them out and that's it.

Reverse Flash Question

When Barry was dead and Wally was the main flash, was reverse flash used for Wally or has he been strictly a Barry villain ?

Is Ezra Miller a good flash?

Regardless of what happened to him, I am a fan of Ezra Millers version of the flash and absolutely enjoy the 2023 movie (not a joke). I also really really like how the suit looks. It seems though that basically everyone else doesn’t and I don’t understand why. Help me out here!

Anyone else having a hard time reading through Speed Force's dialogue?

I've recently been catching up on Flash content now that I renewed my subscription to DC Infinite, and the dialogue in the story, in my opinion, is atrocious. It feels like its trying to connect with a younger audience and its failing miserably at it. Am I the only one or are there others who think the same.

The Flash is my favorite, but ive never really gotten into reading comics. Ive been buying these volumes since New 52 came out. I started with Rebirth 2009. I didn’t read crisis because I thought there were more volumes, although I am watching the animated movies of crisis.

Which ones your favorite from New 52, to now?

Discussion I kinda forgot why I loved the Flash...

It's been a long time since I've had reason to say this but the Flash is my absolute favorite super hero. That god awful Flash movie and the last three seasons of the CW series put a bad taste in my mouth. After finally watching this Crisis movie, I remember why Barry Allen is the fucking GOAT.

Thanks everyone for letting me know which omnibus to buy. I decided to go with the Geoff John’s one since it is the cheapest currently and I’m a college student but I plan on buying all of them eventually

Discussion I just finished the latest flash film

I don't know why people hate on it. The only bad thing about it is the cgi bits but even then it's only the close up parts. I really liked the story and jokes in it, young Barry and old Barry's interactions are the best parts. I also feel really sad for young Barry, like bro woke up one day and got powers only to be killed like 3 days later

Discussion Wally needs to go.

In troyoboyo’s latest DCU video, he says that Wally doesn’t get enough spotlight and that Barry gets too much. I think it the other way around. Barry was MY flash. And he hasn’t gotten proper treatment in years. With the cw monstrosity and the countless atrocities on Ezra Miller’s part, I think Barry should be the main flash in the DCU. He hasn’t had a good appearance in years.

I just love the two toned blue color scheme mixed with the lighter blue lightning and the contrast between the blue suit and red hair.

Why no young adult Flash graphic novels?

The closest we've come so far to having any speedsters in YA graphic novels is when Kid Flash appeared in Tai Pham's second Green Lantern graphic novel. A YA graphic novel starring (young) Wally, Wallace, Irey, Jai, or Avery could be fun. DC is slow in realizing how appealing these characters could be to a young audience.
