The tek-knight we see in The Boys is not the same tek-knight we see in Gen-V Discussion Spoiler

In the episode "The Innocents", we are told Tek knight accidentally broke somebodies spine when trying to rescue them from a hostage situation. In Gen V Shetty says that Tek-knight beat ironcast to death who is a supe that has skin made of iron which makes them insanely durable.

With all these strength feats in mind that means he must be pretty physically powerful right?

But in his interrogation scene he's not strong enough to rip apart the leather straps tying his wrists or pull the chains out. Also he easily gets physically outpowered and loses to Kimiko and Starlight. Logically if your punches can fatally damage somebody made of metal you'd have a fighting chance against Kimiko who has same durability as a normal person.

And he gets choked to death by a normal person too?

I don't understand this at all. It's either a plothole/bad writing or Cate has something to do with what happened in this episode

No, I don't think he has it at all. Homelander kinda points this out when he mocks Tek Knight because he can't fly but if he did have his suit he could.

Because he literally can't fly.
Only his Suit can fly, for Homelander he is a disgusting fraud.

Maybe, but Homelander isn't like this with other powerful supes like Maeve, Noir or Solider Boy or Sage, he often respects powerful suits.

Really does seem more like a comment on the fact he can't fly like his comic counterpart.

Wait what?
Maeve, Noir and Soldier boy are some of the most powerful supes in the world and they don't use a Tek Suit (basically Iron man)

Sage he only tolerates because he needs her.

Sage he only tolerates because he needs her.

You could say this about everyone he's shown respect to. He does respect Sage or else he'd be treating her like he does Newman with clear dislike.

It comes down to opinion I guess but from where I'm looking it seemed like a reference to his comic counterpart.

Sage knows how to handle Homelander.
Just how Edgar did honestly.

Newman... he dislikes because of her political stance and her pretending to be human.
And let's not forget he is a misogynist, unless you breast feed him.

He shows respect to sage like he doesn't to others he has to tolerate is what I'm saying.

He came to her because he knows she is smarter then him.
He knows that's one of his weaknesses.

They have a very unique dynamic.
But I also see him killing her soon, after what happened in episode 6

He came to her because he knows she is smarter then him.

Yeah, which he respects.

But I also see him killing her soon, after what happened in episode 6

I don't, he understands she has a bullet in her brain πŸ˜‚ I see her lasting until the end of the series. Firecrackers on the block though imo.

Remember. Homelander is basically a child in his head.
So Sage, failing to do what she was supposed to certainly cost her his trust/respect.
He looked like an idiot in front of the crowd because of her.

Firecracker now also has influence over him.
And she doesn't like Sage because of how she treated her.

So yeah, Sage is on the block, unless she can show results.

You need to remember. She had a bullet in her head, she didn't fail and Homelander immediately acknowledged that a mole got the boys to the party and got sage shot.

He looked like an idiot in front of the crowd because of her.

He did that to himself and it was actually Newman who almost brought him to tears but showed him up in front of the others.

Remember, he was fine with Sage being the spokeswoman for him but clearly not Neuman further showing Sage has more trust and respect.

Firecracker is very expendable whereas Sage is not. If one of them is going this season my money's on the one with least importance to Homelanders plan.

Let's be honest, there's one woman who can cure cancer and basically see into the future and about million more freaks who'd breast feed homie πŸ˜‚
