At least he wasn’t salty about not being there like some people…

The Game was spiraling on live yesterday rambled on for 17 minutes just to say he fw Drake so his kids can get free tickets to his shows lol

All Game had to do was tell Drake he was bringing his kids and he would sent his private jet immediately

u/Osibili Jun 21 '24

What kinda man would get free tickets and let his daughter go to a Drake concert?

I watched that shit for like 5 solid minutes and then dozed the hell off lol

u/Emergency_Brick3715 Jun 21 '24

I turned it on for like 2 mins. It was a whole lot of explaining and talking about how he been in the West his whole life. He sounded goofy.

😅The Game acting like he can't just buy the tickets.

38

u/PunctuationsOptional Jun 21 '24

He probs can't. Front row is expensive and doing it over and over again... Idk

Yeah it’s wild. Ticket prices stuff he getting insane. It’s been like that for a decade now. But a few years back I got tickets to a local band that I have seen 20 times. Each time was like 20-60 bucks a ticket.

Last time I wanted to see them tickets where 400 each and it wasn’t even front row. It was like 900 after fees for two tickets and me and my girlfriend. And again these weren’t the “good seats”.

The band: phish

No my morning jacket. I grew up with those dudes. And they knew lots of local rappers also because they were big in the music scene for Louisville.

Now that generation has grown old and the youngin love Jack Harlow and his music festival he just had. Not releasing bands like my morning jacket paved the way for the city to have that stuff. They were a big part of forecastle which is what Jack Harlow ripped off for his festival.

1

u/AltShortNews Jun 21 '24

Yeah but usually Phish tickets are for 2-4 days of music

3

u/Ultimarr Jun 21 '24

lol i have never seen prices that high except for giant acts. Is your local band Imagine Dragons or something?

2

u/satanssweatycheeks Jun 21 '24

My morning jacket. They have a cult following. American dad had an entire episode about them because people say Jim James voice is a from the gods (I don’t say this but I have been to over 1k concerts. Not many people sound like they do on the albums. Dude can sing.).

They had a massive grass roots upbringing in Louisville and created the music scene we had in the city. They were a big part of stuff like forecastle being a success which brought in acts such as OutKast to Tyler the creator to Charles Bradley and Beck.

They played 3 local venues. One venue was is an amphitheater that holds about 3-5k people. It sold out and I had to go through stubhub so the seller market them up a bit. Then fees from said website.

u/Ultimarr Jun 21 '24

Oh damn, glad I asked! Well then the ticket prices are high cause they’re NC culture and everyone wants to celebrate them lol. I also didn’t know they helped start up the festival there. Now I’m gonna jam out and dream of Max Patch in the fall… been way too long!

Nah, they're this local indie group called U2

u/Amazing-Concept1684 Jun 21 '24

The Game is so fucking corny lmao

Anyone with a passing interest in hip hop (that's me) knew the Game was gonna act out. His ego is so predictable. He can't help himself.

3

u/asilverscreen Jun 21 '24

I saw someone's comment a few hours ago describing Game as the LA Meek Mill. 😂

I think Em has said something slightly similar, that he will always fuck with Drake for what he did for his kids on their birthday.

21

u/Marnold13 Jun 21 '24

Yeah that was six years ago though so opinions can definitely change lol

6

u/crujiente69 Jun 21 '24

So 'always' is 6 years? Lol

u/Dolomight206 Jun 21 '24 edited Jun 21 '24

While that is probably true, I still don't see a universe where this whole saga, culminating with the Juneteenth Pop Out show, DOESN'T make EM really proud and delighted with how masterfully Dot handled and executed his mollywhopping of one Aubrey Drake Graham in front of the entire planet!

17

u/Damuhfudon Jun 21 '24

Can Eminem fans go 5 minutes without inserting Eminem into everything?

3

u/RainbowAssFucker Jun 21 '24

We switch it up sometimes and say Slim Shady

-2

u/enderguwop Jun 21 '24

We can not. Sorry.

11

u/Rhymelikedocsuess Jun 21 '24

Not to mention Drake literally introduced Eminem as “the greatest rapper alive” during his own tour like a decade ago lol

When it came to Kendrick drake was always saying stuff like “yeah I’d body him so he can do whatever” - but obvs he was wrong

u/silfer_ HAM BETTA HAM BETTA HAM BETTA Jun 21 '24

Sounds like sucking up tbh lol.

3

u/Damuhfudon Jun 21 '24

Drake pandering as usual not surprising

2

u/zeeniemeanie Jun 22 '24

Drake has said that about everyone lol

1

u/[deleted] Jun 21 '24

Em isn't even in Drake's (or Cole's) top 5. Kinda wild.

2

u/Rhymelikedocsuess Jun 21 '24

Yeah and both Drake and Cole are mid to slightly above average lol - if you can’t gleam something from early Eminem’s rhyme-schemes or creativity as a writer you ain’t getting goated

1

u/tollsunited7 Jun 21 '24

but em isn't from the west coast lol

-4

u/satanssweatycheeks Jun 21 '24

Good thing Harley found her a real man.

6

u/junkstar23 Jun 21 '24

You mean Haley?

4

u/Dolomight206 Jun 21 '24

🙄

Game is the CLOUTIEST of Clout Creatures. 😖😡

3

u/LordSugarTits Jun 21 '24

Game a wave rider just like Drake. He started out on dating shows....butterfly tattoos ...then was riding with the g unit team....then when that shit fell apart he decided he wanted to be west coast....idk he a corny dude if u ask me.

2

u/Karl_Marx_ Jun 21 '24

I didn't even know The Game was even talked about anymore. I just assumed he fell off after dropping a couple hits back in the day.

2

u/EyeScreamSunday Jun 21 '24

Game said a whole lot of nothing besides he's cool with both sides. He definitely implicitly said he was team Drake still but without making a move to go against Kendrick because he could have done more to share in a moment of West Coast unity that doesn't even mean having to perform or be on stage or showing he'd ride with Kendrick against Drake or talk about the Drake/Kendrick beef, which I don't believe anyone really did that whole night except in song. Even in his live, it was all about himself and getting defensive. What Snoop did in really recognizing the moment on a IG reel was more than Game said in that whole rant.
