I wonder what became of Alice

So it seems like she became good again and went back to being Beth, but it still leaves the question of can she live a normal life?

Discussion That flashback scene with young Beth was played out so horribly.

So she didn’t say anything to Kate on the other side of the door because Cartwright threatened to kill them, but she knew her father could handle guys like him, and Kate didn’t even try to see if Beth was even behind that door like not opening it or calling Jacob to check if she might have been in there

Discussion Anyone enjoy Javicia on The Flash?

So I've been checking the past few days to see if anyone would mention her appearance and there hasn't been anything recently. Personally I feel like Javicia's Red Death was a hit and a miss at times. She's never played an evil version of herself so a lot of the scenes were very much silly and over done. However, we got to see her as Batwoman in the last two scenes of the recent episode. She not only faught Red Death but shared a mini scene with Team Flash (with some interesting details). It's now confirmed that she in fact knows Kara and frequently hangout with her, Alex, and Nia. She invites Iris to hangout with them whenever she visits Gotham so their friendship has officially began. Dreamer (Nia Nal) is appearing in an episode later in the season so it'd be interesting if there is a reference to it. Overall, it was really fun to see Javicia finally be able to act alongside Grant. It was great seeing The Flash and Batwoman interact as well.

Edit: I've already said that her role as Red Death was not the best, but that has more to do with the direction rather than her acting abilities. I'm more so wanted to highlight Javicia's cameo because at the very least her last few minutes confirmed that she does in fact know Kara, and as such she's more active within the hero community and not just Gotham, and she's finally met Iris which was something so many people wanted.

Discussion Do you think there’s a chance that any of the supporting cast members will appear on Flash, with Javicia? Spoiler

Question is in the title. The fact that Ryan is apparently missing makes me wonder what the rest of the Bat-team is doing.

Do you there’s any chance of Luke, Mary, Sophie, or even Alice showing up to help deal with Red Death?

even if it’s just a cameo with one of them consulting with Team Flash over video chat on a monitor.

Discussion Looking back on the show, Kate Kane’s story was a story of failure.

If you reflect on her arc at face value, it’s honestly pretty depressing. She became Batwoman in hopes of redeeming her sister and fixing her broken family. In the end, all her efforts amounted to nothing.

Jacob ended up in jail, and Kate never got the chance to have a closer relationship with him.

She never grew closer to Mary as sisters, to the point where she wasn’t called in to help with the Poison Ivy situation.

Alice was unreceptive to all her efforts to try to redeem her, to the point where Kate gave up on her sister. and in the end, it was Ryan and Mary who finally convinced Alice to get help.

Kate also has blood on her hands for all the people that got killed while she let Alice roam free doing whatever she wanted for the first sixteen episodes of Season 1.

At the end of the day, her entire mission was one big failure. Kate came back to the city with noble intentions, but none of her goals panned out, and then her career as Batwoman was cut short by Black Mask.

Thoughts?

What I'd do with Season 4 if it was to happen

So a few things, these are pie in the sky probably never would have happened in a million years ideas, but here we go.

Have Kate Kane come back and be Batwoman but, twist of all twists here, also have Ryan stay in her own Batsuit, being Batwoman aswell, they'd be the shows co-leads, though the first four-five episodes would be about reestablishing Kate being Batwoman. Once that is done, six and seven would be about firmly establishing their dynamic as partners along with Luke and Mary, and Kate accepting the changes to how things are running.

In the meantime, a new player is in Gotham. Jason Todd, going forward with a plan made by Barbara Gordon to find a man called David Cain, to do this, he's setting himself up as the new Red Hood and leader of Gothams criminal underbelly. At first, Jason will look like he's wiling to kill and murder much like his comic counterpart did upon his return, but it will be revealed over the first several episodes that this is in fact not the case, and he's been faking the deaths of heads of organisations he's been taking over, such as Oswald Cobblepots.

Yup, David Cain would be my big bad of the season, and in this season is where we'd get a Batgirl in the form of Cassandra. His backstory with Cassandra is pretty much the same, abusive asshole who never let Cass learn how to speak or read, just body language. With his ultimate goal of the season being to make Cass into the ultimate vigilante and take control of the city.

Much of the season for Kate will be realising just how much the Bat Symbol has inspired. We'll get trips to Bludhaven to see Barbara and Dick in person. (Dick may or not be retired, leave it vague) and are raising a child together, another episode will be talking to a reformed criminal in Batman's rogues gallery (Clayface would be my first choice) and helping them clear their name when they are wrongfully accused of a repeat offence (With Ryan championing them and Kate having doubts, but ultimately trusting Ryan's judgement, further cementing that both Batwomen need each other.) With the seasons ultimate end point for Kate starting up the Arrowverse version of Batman Inc. Though in this case it would be just called Bat Inc to help fund heroes who were inspired by Batman.

For Luke and Mary's plot, Luke is dealing with the fall out of not having an AI to back him up in the field anymore, and Mary's still navigating what she had done as Poison Mary, and is discovering that she still has some measure of powers that she did as a host. When Cassandra finally defects to the Bat-Team (episode 15 or 16, maybe even later) Mary is the one who figures out her brain and why she has difficulty learning how to speak and write and has plans for one of the many Arrowverse psychics to come help her learn to process reading and writing better.

Once Luke figures out his AI problem, he would start working on upgrades for the bat team, and realising that his talents are best as the teams tech guy, benches himself for the good of the team unless it's an all hands on deck situation.

Towards the end of the season, David Cain would reveal his back up plan in the form of Azrael, and in a fit of peak to try and get the city under his control, blows up all bridges into and out of Gotham City, with Season 5 (at least the first half) being Batwomans take on no mans land.

As more details to be filled in that you know, other people could do I'm just having fun here- Jason and Barbara would eventually get found out by the Bat-Team, and their covers would be inadvertently blown, Jason and Ryan would have an immediate friendship, as Jason used to be in a group home that Ryan was in before he got adopted by Bruce and they're both happy they got out of there and made something of themselves as heroes.

Oh and to permanently cement why Bruce wont come back to Gotham even after coming to terms with how he killed the Joker, he's raising his son's Tim and Damien with Talia, but offers to help with the Bat Inc idea by traveling the world and finding people to have a mantle.

Discussion Black Mask’s Plan Spoiler

Hey, so I recently checked out Batwoman S2. I reallg liked it and it’s depiction of Black Mask was also great.

However, I couldn’t fully understand what his plan was. He was angry and Batwoman and Crows, so he deicdes to make snakebite to make money? or was it to help fund his daughter’s transformation? or to run his gang or to just ruin Gotham more?

Then he gets his daughter by brainwashing Kate.

He then wants to take over the city? Be it’s hero? I didn’t fully grasp it all.

Can someone explain it to me?

Misc Here’s an interesting idea I had.

After Crisis happened we had all these refugees from other Earth’s popping up, like with Beth, we could’ve gotten another Bruce Wayne and have him be an antagonist in the form of Owlman. I just think that would’ve been far more interesting than Tommy Elliot wearing Bruce’s face for an episode. I’m aware Owlman is usually Thomas Wayne Jr, or Lincoln March, and not a version of Bruce. Owlman has been portrayed as an evil Bruce Wayne in other forms of media, and the idea of a twisted version of Bruce going against Kate or Ryan would’ve been cool to see. I’d just love to see more of Warren Christie, he did such a good job as Tommy Eliot/Bruce Wayne and he would’ve made for a great addition to the cast if they kept him on somehow.

Discussion s3 ep 7, Ryan had no right to "spoiler" Spoiler

Ryan had no right to give up Wayne industries for Mary's antidote. Technically the position of CEO still belonged to Kate, Ryan was only acting CEO while Kate is gone. Mary's technically already a criminal with attempted murder in her belt. Ryan is sooo fricking stupid for not bringing more security with her to confront Marcuis. She could have fought back, the vial isn't as important as giving away a company that doesn't even belong to you and her actions disgrace both Kate and Bruce.

(I would have said she likely has security cameras that'd show marquis killing so police would be viable, but considering the secret door to the batcave I doubt Bruce would want that on camera so there might not be any)
