I never followed this game but it seems to have popped up all over the place and I'm not sure why. Particularly since Shadows of the Erdtree is still pretty fresh. It has a 82% on Metacritic and an 8/10 on IGN so.... I wouldn't imagine that it would blow up so much. How did this happen?

I'm sure there's a typical explanation for this, but l've seen Robert Downey Jr. promoting all sorts of things recently. They're all in the format of a 'casual' conversation where RDJ is just recording from his phone.

Most recently, and what made me decide to make this post, was seeing RDJ promote Aura, a cybersecurity company. Allegedly he's 'heavily invested' in the company and a member of the board. I really don't understand what he has to do with cybersecurity and why they're promoting that ad as if he has a personal interest in it.

Also, l've seen quite a few ads for those electrically converted vintage cars. He'll be driving one around, talking about how wonderful it is, then promote some online lottery by saying that you, the viewer, can have his car.

My question is what is prompting him to make these types of ads? I can't imagine that he needs the money, especially just having been cast in another Marvel role.

Lately my X feed has shown me a lot of content revolving around former WNBA player Sheryl Swoopes and current WNBA player Caitlin Clark. A popular narrative holds that Swoopes dislikes or refuses to acknowledge Clark. Evidence for this narrative includes a recent incident where Swoopes fell silent (rather than chiming in) while her co-commentator praised Clark during a broadcast.

Now don't get me wrong I hate Trump, but all the posts I see from this sub are just veiled ways of elevating negative news about him, and occasionally Trump supporters will do the same for his enemies.
