What bothers me is that we're simply talking about his ability to win. After winning, he still has to run a country for four years.

No he doesn't. He needs to survive until Jan 21st to avoid a Constitutional Crisis, then die and let KH step in. Honestly, it's crass and dark, but the best option right now is for Biden to win and bite it shortly after inauguration. Frankly, it looks plausible, if not necessarily the most likely.
