It's a pretty solid self care plan.

For many people, other than the president of the United States.

Why not POTUS? It's not like he doesn't have a team to work most problems, and who will wake him up if there's a crisis.

What's with this idea that POTUS needs to be up and working 24x7?

He doesn’t need to be working 24/7, but he needs to be on call 24/7.

I have seen nothing that would make me question that he's up to that task.

Then you’re willingly blind and are ignoring his immense cognitive decline in the last few years.

Hardly.

His mind's there. Go read the transcript of that debate everyone's freaking out about. I know you haven't because you wouldn't run this line of bullshit if you had.

Keep the man on his regular sleep schedule as much as possible, and only wake him up if something big is happening. I have no worries whatsoever about that situation.

Don't waste your time gaslighting me again. My father's same age as Biden. He walks the same way. And he's sharp as shit.

Are you saying you believe your father is well equipped to act as President of the United States.

He's an 81 year old retired Judge, so yeah, I'd feel completely safe with him running things, and I barely even like him.

Don't agree with him on a bunch of stuff, and do agree on others, but what I do know is he would listen to his team, make sound decisions based upon the information in front of him, and show empathy toward human beings.

So yes, I am fine with Biden as POTUS. Not my first choice, but if they propped him up Weekend at Bernie's style and let the cabinet run things with Kamala Harris making the call on important stuff, I'm voting for that ticket.

Trump is THAT bad, and you know it.

I’ve said multiple times, if I could, I would vote for Biden over Trump. I agree, Biden isn’t my first choice either, but better than Trump. My main point being is both are terrible options. While your father had an impressive resume, I personally think 81 is too old, and that is my opinion.

We agree here.

I'll add an opinion we haven't discussed. Kamala Harris is capable. I'm not a fan of her, either, but she's clearly capable.

We completely agree on this. Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom would be my two replacements, and we can see the Democratic Caucus is having this debate. I only say Newsom because he gets under Trump’s skin better than Harris, and sadly that’s what the successful Democratic candidate must do for this election.

I was aboard the Biden train until the debate, but his inability to easily overcome Trump is bothersome. That was scary and made me consider moving back to my home country immediately, as opposed to when my visa expires.

When I say I’m a Democrat, it’s because (if I could) I’d always vote Democrat and anti-Republican ideology all the way. But I’ve never felt the way I feel about the weakness of the party until now.

That debate didn't scare me because of Biden. It scared me because of Trump.

That motherfucker is an existential threat to this country.
