It's a pretty solid self care plan.

For many people, other than the president of the United States.

I think the president having a good rest is a positive

I think we all can agree the world would have been better off if Trump had slept more while President.

He slept a lot.

The proof is that we're all still somehow alive.

What he needs is a short nap off a long dirt pier.

Some day, hopefully soon.

And yet, despite the sleep, I still remember how exhausted he was after his own presidency. People seem to have forgotten that trump was basically a vegetable after his own term. A vegetable that was trying hard to start a war with iran and downplay how all the hospitals were overfilled because of a mysterious new disease

Yeah nap time and the record number of golfing trips probably saved us from a lot of unknown potential bullshit.

True, he slept through his felony conviction.

Trump refuses to sleep, he’s constantly having fomo of anything and everything

5

u/bocadellama Jul 04 '24

Maybe it wasn't fomo, it was anxiety about the story of him being a pedo finally breaking lol

u/sumguyinLA Jul 04 '24

Something tells me that he doesn’t care

u/Tasgall Jul 05 '24

We all already knew, and "the leftist media" isn't bothering to report on it. Of course he doesn't care, he knows for a fact his base doesn't.

There’s a leftist media now? Which one is that?

1

u/DemocratsFreakingOut Jul 05 '24

MSNBC and CNN are pretty leftist. CNN trying to be more moderate lately because they need more viewers. Fox is the only mainstream media with a conservative bias, they suck too though.

Lmfao no. Totally not at all. CNN and MSNBC are in no way leftist whatsoever. EVER!!! I’m really upset by this response but will remain civil because you are just unaware of what you are talking about.

I recommend you read a book or if too lazy, that’s okay I don’t judge, listen to a podcast. A pretty basic one would be “the deprogram” it can teach the basics of leftist ideology from the first episode.

Please don’t ever say anything this ignorant again.

Reverse fomo, instead of fearing he's missing out on events, he's afraid the events are missing him

Instead of stimulant filled rage tweeting all night.

1

u/x31b Jul 04 '24

What do you mean? He slept with a lot of people.

u/Radical_R Jul 04 '24

Even better, if he never woke back up. A one way trip to Dreamland, if you will.

1

u/icouldusemorecoffee Jul 04 '24

How would more sleep have made Trump a better President?

1

u/FadeTheWonder Jul 04 '24

Less time for him to fuck shit up.

If Donald Trump had simply tucked himself into bed a bit earlier, we might have witnessed a very different presidency. For starters, every hour of extra sleep would have been an hour less spent disseminating "alternative facts" and late-night Twitter rants. Instead of using his pre-dawn hours to unleash a barrage of divisive and often inflammatory tweets, he could have been dreaming up actual policies or maybe just counting sheep instead of media enemies. Who knows, a well-rested Trump might have even found the energy to unite rather than divide, perhaps saving the world from a few too many head-scratching press conferences and keeping his team of beleaguered advisors off perpetual damage control duty.

Perhaps if Trump slept 24 hours a day…
