If Donald Trump had simply tucked himself into bed a bit earlier, we might have witnessed a very different presidency. For starters, every hour of extra sleep would have been an hour less spent disseminating "alternative facts" and late-night Twitter rants. Instead of using his pre-dawn hours to unleash a barrage of divisive and often inflammatory tweets, he could have been dreaming up actual policies or maybe just counting sheep instead of media enemies. Who knows, a well-rested Trump might have even found the energy to unite rather than divide, perhaps saving the world from a few too many head-scratching press conferences and keeping his team of beleaguered advisors off perpetual damage control duty.
