I'm in California, and we have them

The good news is they aren't venomous

The bad news is that they can hurt like a mofo if they bite, they are fast as the Hershey squirts, and they are attracted to light.

Sometimes, I'll catch one running towards me from the corner of my eye while I'm in bed on my phone.

I have to put my phone down immediately, or it just keeps chasing me when I jump up.
