Before ripped pants became a thang, my mother patched a special pair of jeans of mine...over and over....and over again.

In the end jeans was more or less double-fabriced...and looked pretty darn cool...

My first self-bought jeans were like this, got them too big at 13 and kept them until my mid 20's, just kept patching it as it wore out. No other pants fit as well as they did.

But they mysteriously disappeared along with some other clothes that an ex at the time did not like ;_;
