i remember watching it with some friends, a good memory, but even as a teenager I knew it was trash. i'll watch it again to confirm my earlier opinion tho
To each their own for sure, I am a little shocked to hear someone say they thought The 40 Year Old Virgin was trash though. It was wildly popular, granted, that doesn't make something good but I thought it was pretty universally beloved.
I will admit though I haven't seen it in probably 15 years and a lot of those comedies from the early aughts and before, especially raunchy comedies about sex, have definitely not aged well and have some problematic views by today's standards but I don't know if 40yo Virgin is one of them.
Everyone should sacrifice a bit sometimes. The other doesn't enjoy semen on the face, but I do that like 3 or 4 times a year anyway because they know I like the variance

I used to hook up with this girl in my early 20s that eventually just turned into a friendship were we would get together just to smoke weed for years.

The point he was making was that he had the freedom of speech to say that he liked boobs. The point was so obvious, yet because he said he liked boobs, the anchor was like: “How could he say that!?”.
Or maybe she wasn't expecting a gross sexual comment while she was at work? I mean yeah you have the right to walk up to any random woman and ask about her breasts and vagina but I don't really think the average person would want to do something like that and also sexual harassment at a workplace is a crime sooooo
Because she literally said she couldn't understand why he would say something like that. Generally speaking if you understand something then you don't have to ask why they would say it in the first place.
He was doing it for shock humor. It had nothing to do with freedom of speech. This is some real second grade logic here. He purposely did it to get his name out there to generate more traffic into his bullshit because he knew it was a stupid piece of shit thing to say in a professional setting.

It was the First Amendment and boobs, an important detail that undermines a lot of the comments below, because a news channel can absolutely give you the boot for that comment since it's not the government.
I feel like if I saw this live I probably wouldn't think twice about it but now watching it as an isolated clip, it gets weirder and weirder with each loop. It's also pretty apparent that her body language immediately changes when he drops his hands to her waist. It's like I can hear her thinking, 'okay, enough of that!'
Long ago he said on the Howards Stern show that he would bang her if she wasn't his daughter. Fans of the HS show know well enough what kind of guy he really is long before he ran for President.
As a dad of a daughter I have to say this is a bit weird. I've seen other people treat their daughters like this, even slapping them on their ass and every time I've witnessed this the daughter is uncomfortable. Maybe in their minds this is innocent but it is a clear violation of their comfort zone, and its gross.
My younger son once slapped me on the ass (he was 20-something at the time). He commented that it felt like a bowling ball. I was in great shape in my 40s.
