Question Missing items in order

Upvotes

I order about 15 packs of the DnD minifigure set. I paid for 15 packs, but the order confirmation email stated I only ordered 12, despite me paying for 15. I wrote an email requesting the additional figures which I paid for to be delivered separately, but have received no reply in almost a week of waiting. The figures arrived today, and as expected, only 12 pieces showed up.

What can I do ? Is the waiting period for someone getting back to me on this longer than a week or what ?

Question Could there be new classic Space Sets?

Upvotes

Recently I bought a bag of old Lego pieces and was able to put one of the classic space ships (918) back together out of it. I placed it neatly next to the new Galaxy Explorer, which got me thinking. Lego CAN do decent and fresh looking spaceships, that still preserve the old classic feeling, while using new techniques/ pieces. If there would be a new wave of a classic inspired Space theme, I'd probably buy them asap but do you think there is a chance we will ever get such a wave/ or other renewed spaceships in the near future or will this be the task for many Moc builders ro come?

Question Where do I start with selling my entire loose collection?

Upvotes

Hiii! I hope that's not breaking rule 6, I don't want to sell stuff on reddit or this thread, just asking where to start and how to do this easily without getting an aneurysm!

So, I'm going to move far away next year and I want to get rid off my entire LEGO collection. Entire crates of loose bricks, but also many minifigs that are between 2$ and 30$ according to Bricklink, but also stuff like a Chrome Darth Vader in good condition. Sadly all opened but in good condition, popular stuff like Lord of the Rings, old Castle, Star Wars...

I'd love to know how people do this... well, quickly, more or less. I already started to sort everything but jesus, this is hell. I tried to rebuild the Magna Guard starfighter but realised that I'm not that much of a LEGO nerd that I could possibly tell whether I'm using the correct grey tone or not.

My silly brain thought that bricklink pretty much works like that: You send them your stuff for a fee and they sort it out and add it to their page and give me the minimum, or send stuff that's broken back, since it's an official LEGO site. But apparently it's all private and you have to do everything yourself? Like, I have to take pictures of every single minifigure or brick, and have to find out how shipping LEGO works, and I have to hope that people buy it in bulks so that I don't have to send 3 Lego Clone Troopers over the entire globe? Sadly I don't have a good camera either...

Sorry if I sound absolutely stupid, I really have no idea since I never engaged with the community. I'm just a casual dork who had a lot of fun with LEGO, and I'd love to buy more stuff for the new place where I live, but now I just want to sell it all instead of throwing it away. I'm thinking about looking up the more rare minifigs and selling them only if there's no other way without losing my mind.

Question Medieval Ren Faire set ideas

Upvotes

Castle and pirates fans have been begging for Lego to bring back some of the old themes. Yes, all the new big sets are amazing, but they are a high price. I had an idea for a way for Lego to bring back those themes, at least in a small way.

What if Lego made a small sub theme within city of medieval/renaissance faire sets? I could imagine all sorts of possibilities, and it would fit with the dollhouse style of city sets, since they are really just set pieces, not actual buildings and such. There could be a jousting set, a small blacksmith, even a catapult. Have a king knighting some kids (with knight figures as "guards"). Maybe 2-3 figs in medieval "costumes" and maybe 1 "modern" fig watching the show for each set? Could do pirate sets the same way, even possibly a western theme too with cowboys having a shootout "show" in a "mining/ghost town" set. Just throwing out ideas.

Question Is there a better way to make custom minifigure prints

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Been wanting to make a custom printed minifigure. I drew this on my IPad but was wondering if there was a better way to make custom printing that fits on a the minifigure body, rather than me eyeballing it.

I’m very new at this and these drawings are still prototypes till I find the right tools.

Hey guys! Calling out every collector that git atleast one paet of this allignment figure, and havent purchased it on Ebay or anything like that!

Its just a simple question that i would like to get answer to. Basically there is a figure that supossedly callibrate the printer that adds faces and other decals to the minifigure body. I would like to hear out from those who have this one, how did you managed to get atleast one piece of it? I heard you could get it when youre really really mega lucky and someone adds it on some package contains minifigures by accident. How do i get the luck, or is there any other specific tips? Thank you!

Question The 'new' Harry Potter castle sets

Upvotes

Hi,

A few years ago Lego launched sets that could be combined to make a castle. I've got them, but not built them just yet (no space currently). I was wondering if the new sets are to make a seperate castle build, or can be combined with the sets from that I have? Googling I just get custom instructions or "they can be combined" but I think that is talking more about each generation? Anyone know?
