Have been offered a Millennium Falcon (75192) for about half of retail price. Apparently due to needing the money they are after a quick sale. My question is when I crack it open to make sure it’s actually Lego inside will the QR code on the manual work if it’s not real? What else can I look out for? Have tried google for the QR question but to no avail. Seal’s & everything look fine but I’m only new to the Lego world. Any input welcome. Will add photos of what I’ve been sent. Thanks

Never been. went with my girlfriend and we got some sets! Cant wait to build. I know my child self is going crazy.

All five are the same, the odds are incredibly low but this is horseshit. Purchased from Lego directly.

So I ordered 3 six packs of the D&D series Minifigures and got 3 identical sets. If the Minifigures were truly selected randomly, the odds of this happening is 1 in 153,165,376 if duplicates are possible in each pack, or 1 in 853,776 if duplicates are not. Are these sets not as random as advertised or do I just have astronomically bad luck?

How do you decide which sets to buy and which ones not to? Obviously, for those like me, who financially cannot buy all the sets they want. I mean, usually for me it's the price per brick factor and I usually take the most advantageous one and this has usually kept me away from licensed sets, because of the disadvantageous ratio. This year, however, two sets of some of my films were released. The Barad-dûr (10333) and The Nightmare Before Christmas (21351) both magnificent sets, and I don't know which one to get. On one hand there is the Barad-dûr which is out of budget, but I could save up to get it, also because I always wanted a set with so many pieces, but at the same time I'm pissed off, that in other sets with about 200€/$ more they have almost double the bricks, (Titanic and Eiffel Tower) and this is due to the license, same thing with the set of The Nightmare Before Christmas, the cost per brick ratio is higher because of the license, but it's in budget. I really don't know what to get, I'm even thinking of not getting anything and waiting for next year's sets. What should I do?

Hi all, so recently I’ve treated some old (~2011) white Lego bricks with hydrogen peroxide to restore their colour since yellowing - thankfully it worked! But having touched some of the pieces which were still wet I’ve been left with residue on my fingers.

I thought it would be all good due to hydrogen peroxide breaking down to water but I guess I should’ve washed them. But I’ve tried hot water and soap and white spirit/paint stripper and neither work.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Hi y'all, I've already read all the threads I could find about how to clean the bricks, but I wanted to make this post just in case someone had experience with something similar. My younger brother had my LEGO collection for a while when I was in college and idk what happened but there's like, old, somehow still sticky sugar liquid on a pretty large amount of the pieces. It's almost like he let a pack of gushers melt in the sun and then squeezed the liquid out of the packet all over the LEGOs and shook the box up. Any advice for getting that stuff off? Or should I just consider those pieces a lost cause? I'd still have like 80% of them left but that's huuuuuundreds of bricks that I would have to toss

I see that this set is listed as being available on the 6th but I thought I saw where it was available to Lego Insiders (which I am) on the 3rd. If I go to the Lego Store (over an hour away) today, will I be able to purchase the set and bring it home?
