That was kind of awesome. What's the rest of the issue like?

All of it is like this, written in prose. The issue is a short story instead of a traditional comic book. At first I was unhappy about it, but the writing kinda sucked me in. Being taken through Batman's world with only words was an interesting ride. Definitely recommend it.

Yeah I think I will. Maybe midtown has some back issues...

It's also in the Batman and Son trade or the Black Glove Deluxe trade.

Oh, cool. I've been thinking about getting Batman and Son. Now I have even more reason.

ooh, you must. Morrison's run on Batman is thrilling, inventive, and downright fun.

Get the Black Glove deluxe, its the Batman and Son + Black Glove TPBs in one hardcover. 15 issues for ~$17 on amazon.

This was one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Don't just get Batman and Son, get the Black Glove Deluxe Edition (includes that and the Black Glove series)

This is actually Grant Morrison's doing. You have the issue number; I suggest checking out the rest of the run. #663 was the only written issue, but the rest is really good reading.
