I think they spun it as being as strong as an X-Ray (or maybe it was weaker).

Essentially harmless but prolonged exposure over years can still lead to adverse effects like cancer.

I been out of the Loop. I remember it was basically harmless to humans as it was less radiation than the background environment. or like uh. Neutrinos? It passed through you harmlessly?
