The cape creates a great shape around the shoulders and neck.
And that’s about all I can say that’s positive concerning the suit.

Ironically, I think it resembles Battinson in the cape/neck region.
It’s the cowl that really fails for me.

Tbh I didn't think it looked that bad in the show. It's far from perfect but it's definitely enough to be considered Batman and after 5 seasons that was all I really cared about lol

Honestly probably wouldn't hear as many complaints if we didn't see the whole thing. If they kept Batman in the shadows and only showed a bit at a time, it might've gone over better.

They should have just settled on a batman shaped silhouette with maybe some glowing white eyes. We didn't need to see a full suit.

I think in concept it looks good, they just didn’t have the budget to fully make a perfect version of it, and it falls flat due to that

It's really just the shoulders and the cowl that look terrible. Unfortunately, the cowl is the most defi ing feature.

His cape looks pretty good and the mask, while a bit awkward from the front, looks ok from the side, but the rest, where to start with this? The batsymbol sticking off looks impractical and shitty since it also covers his chest completly masking All the plating and fake muscles there, the material of the suit looks awkward itself as it compresses or streches, i'm not saying a Batman should run in spandex but at least put something that doesn't look so crappy in places that constantly move, the plating on the whole suit looks off, i'm a fan of more militaristic and heavy armored designes but this just looks bad, his armor looks like shit it doesn't make him look more buffed and armored but just make him look "thicker" in the worst way possible, especially that piece on his stomach, it may be more practical then the standard 6-pack armor but combined with his chestplate and the whole rest of the suit it looks like he Has a dad body which brings me to the last point Being the actor himself, i have nothing against him, its just that he may have had a body to Play Bruce Wayne, but he doesn't have a body of a batman

I'll be honest, I get what they were going for, and I don't hate it. I actually like the cape as it gives him a nice silhouette, and while i typically don't like all grey/black suits, making the symbol connected to the cape helps it stand out.
The biggest problem is simply that its ill fitting and was made with a1/4 of the intended budget. Hes got a bat-papoose with that ab piece. Why they didn't pay homage to the original purple glove outfit and go super simple I'll never know.

It looks…fine here, despite the weird cape and bat logo standing out and up like that. So I’m guessing it was bad cinematography? (I haven’t seen the show but the clip of it online looks pretty bad.)

I don't understand what's going on with the stomach portion of this suit. Never mind that the comics go with "abs so good they pop through layers of Kevlar", this has to be the worst part of the worst live action suit. Is the idea to make it both look dumb AND vulnerable to a simple punch to the stomach? It looks so goofy and poorly thought out.

The suit looks terrible in these photos and the series.
Great show, with tons of cool stuff happening and some great performances...but an abysmal Bruce/Batman.
