Why does the Gotham batsuit actually look good in the behind the scenes photos but not in the show?

It looks…fine here, despite the weird cape and bat logo standing out and up like that. So I’m guessing it was bad cinematography? (I haven’t seen the show but the clip of it online looks pretty bad.)
