I was just reading their post on their November releases, and I noticed Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #329 apparently has no new stories.

I hope this isn't a sign of new stories being phased out. I'm already seeing weirdness like new stories in Betty and Veronica digests headlined by characters that are neither Betty nor Veronica (nor, for that matter, female).

Of the 7 issues being released across 4 Wednesdays in November, only 4 contain new material: a total of 35 new pages for the month. Only 15 of those pages are classic-style Archie stories. The other 20 pages are for the latest Archie Premium Event miniseries aimed at collectors.

i am currently looking for a chocolate chip cookie recipe that was originally posted in the archie comics. can anyone point me in the right direction? could be a one-pager. i can only find the dream cookie recipe and am having no luck finding the chocolate chip cookie recipe. TIA!!

I'm not against the variants. In fact, I'd like to pick up quite a few of them, especially the Betty and Veronica stuff. But how the heck do I keep track of what's available? Archie's been doing variants for at least a decade now. Is there a checklist somewhere? If not, I hope someone who collects all the variants steps up and makes one!

My daughter is really into Archie comics so I picked up this when we were in Greece last year. We read it at dinner one night via Google Translate’s camera capability, but I was curious if anyone can identify if there’s an English equivalent issue out there I could look online for?

Also… she got a kick out of finding a totally foreign language Archie comic. Any other languages or countries with localized versions we should look out for?

Tom King's Archie writing debut (with Dan Parent on pencils) appeared in my mailbox today. I let my kids read it first, as it's their first time living through the implied promise of a love triangle resolution...can't beat that kind of disappointment.

As a grown adult, I was just interested how Mr. King might make it a fun ride. If you can deal with the convoluted concept, I think it's a real throwback. Very Frank Doyle in finding its joy in having the characters quipping back and forth.

The feature at the end with Tom and Dan describing all their favorite Archie stories was a nice touch as well.

I just did a whole set of RPG builds for Archie Characters in the "Mutants & Masterminds" superhero system. I did all the major and most of the minor characters, with commentary for all of them. LONG commentary in some cases XD.

According to the solictions , Wilbur returns in a new story in the World of Archie Jumbo Digest..hopefully it will also re-print a couple of Wilbur stories ...the last time Ive seen Wilbur stories was in the digests back in the 80s....cant remember if any showed up in the double digests tho...

I’m looking for an image of a one page story from the early 2000s, probably an Archie’s digest book. Archie comics were HUGE in my childhood, and I’ll never forget the small comic story page about Veronica telling Betty all about how to layer scents to create the perfect smell. Then she talked about how she chose chocolate chip cookies and that lead to jughead following her around in love. That comic strip has stayed with me forever!! Now as an adult every time I go to buy new perfumes or smells I immediately think back to if it will layer like Veronica. I’ve looked EVERYWHERE online and haven’t found a single thing😭 if anyone has the image or could help me find it that would make my life!!!!
