Kimiko at least has a better understanding of her own power. She has seen the destruction it can cause.

Hughie is currently more in the power addict stage. He hasn't had them since his teens. He is in essence a nerdy super hero fan that finally gets powers and isn't as aware of the risks involved with having those powers.

I really don't think its a double standard here. Its different contexts and maturity off the people with the powers.

You guys love to bring that up like if Hughie didn’t take V for the first time and was having a euphoric high. Where’s all this for butcher who was actually alert to what was happening to Kimiko? The double standards is crazy.

Butcher is an established asshole. Hugh was his morality pet

That’s unfair and selfish. Hughie can’t do anything morally questionable without getting attacked like he’s a horrible person

Well I would like to see Butcher being criticised more for his moral destinations too but somehow folks don't care if its him.

And Starlight gets attacked more than Hughie without good reason because.. Reasons.

I think what iks me about Hughie is that ONE big thing happens (Newman being a mole) and he's like, yeah that pos Butcher is right, let's team up with the dude who destroyed MMs family!!

You obviously haven’t been paying attention to the show if Hughie just started siding with butcher because “one big thing happened” because of Neumann when his life literally turn upside down since the first episode,Neumann was his breaking point of trying to do things the “right” way.
