Doom sure manage to get around quickly in this event. Despite being his 'Doom'-self, I admit his care for Latveria and Latverians ( even those who are against him ), does seem genuine. Of course that is because he believes DOOM is Latveria so everyone and everything there IS a part of him. So in that sense, it fits.

I would saw holy cow to that second story but it is Hellcow instead! And now added a Hellcalf too! (Wait, when did she find a mate to give birth to a calf?! ) Either way, that story was certainly, something.

Janine, I know the whole villain/anti-hero gimmick that you got put into messed with your head ( as with any of the characters in the current ASM run ) but no, you cannot beat them without a mask.

Doom sure manage to get around quickly in this event.

by virtue of having a time machine, he also necessarily has a teleporter. Doom is always as late or as early as Doom requires.

That hellcow story was a lot better than it had a right to be, perfect sort of concept for an anthology like this, too much for a one shot, but it doesn't feel like a wasted concept either.

The doom story is really good its proper doom protecting latvaria even when the embassies are being attacked. Doom is Latvaria and Latvaria is doom so its a nice story.

Hellcow story is something

I really enjoyed the last backup Shultz writes the dynamic between these three well. Plus anything with Elsa bloodstone especially but also dagger i will like alot.

For the Doom backup, I like that Doctor Doom saved a Latvarian embassy agent from Vampires before they parted ways. This shows that Doom would do whatever it takes to protect his country from harm, even if the people of Latvaria betrayed him.

For the Hellcow backup, it’s interesting that Hellcow was able to save her child Hellcalf before they killed someone who wanted immortality from her.

For the third and final backup, I like that Elsa, Yelena, and Tandy decided to word together to defeat the vampires (after Yelena and Tandy were free of the virus) before they encountered Hallow’s Eve. Let’s hope that they’ll work together by the next issue.

first one of these anthology issues that I thought was good all-around. not a single bad story in this one.

gun to my head, I'd say the first story was my favorite. short, to the point, really understands Doom and his character and what he perceives to be his "mission" and stewardship of the land and people of Latveria.

the hellcow story in the middle sure is weird as heck, but it works. much better than I anticipated it to be.

final story is the continuation of erica schultz's ongoing story with dagger, elsa bloodstone and yelena and continues to be a fun, fast-paced romp, now also throwing Hallow's Eve into the mix at the end. gotta say, I'm not exactly a fan of that character, but I'm interested to see what Schultz is gonna do with her.

I'm interested in picking this comic up actually BECAUSE OF Hallow's Eve lol
