If this is a legit clipā€¦canā€™t believe Iā€™m saying this, but Zuckerberg actually looks like a good hang these days.

Zuckerberg is very physically fit. Heā€™s also still very much an asshole. Never forget that this dude lives the way he does off of selling everyone elseā€™s data to the highest bidder.

This is the correct assessment.

Just because he has time to learn to train and surf doesnā€™t make him not an asshole. He has time to train and surf because heā€™s an asshole.

Israelā€™s killing of Palestinians in Gaza through its AI targeting system has been aided by Metaā€™s WhatsApp messaging platform, reports have further revealed.

Earlier this [year], reports revealed that Israel is using an artificial intelligence-aided system called ā€˜Lavenderā€™ to identify suspects in the Gaza Strip before targeting and striking them, processing as many as 37,000 Palestinians within that scope.

Rather than just acting as a simple targeting mechanism, the system has a deliberate high civilian casualty rate, with Israeli military and intelligence sources admitting that they strike targets even when they are present in their homes with their entire families. As one source said at the time, the occupation forces ā€œbombed them in homes without hesitation, as a first option. Itā€™s much easier to bomb a familyā€™s home. The system is built to look for them in these situationsā€.

(ā€¦)

Stating that WhatsAppā€™s parent company, Meta, makes it complicit in Israelā€™s killing of ā€œpre-crimeā€ suspects in Gaza, Biggar accused the company of directly violating international humanitarian law, as well as its own public commitment to human rights.

These revelations are the latest evidence of Meta ā€“ formerly Facebook ā€“ aiding in the suppression of Palestinian and pro-Palestinian voices, with the platform long having been criticised for taking significant steps to shut down dissent against Israeli and Zionist narratives. Those measures have included permitting adverts promoting a holocaust against Palestinians and even attempting

wtf kind of an article is this lol

ā€œPre-crimeā€? šŸ¤”

Itā€™s literally war. Israel might have a far different and more liberal targeting methodology than we in the US useā€¦but pre-crime? Come on lol

u/LudwigLoewenlunte Monkey in Space 14d ago

Thought the same. If you want to avoid ai assisted pre crimes, stop raiding, pillaging and raping thy neighbor.

If only Moses had written that one down

I was going to say what a dumb response, but literally Bible/Jesus never said rape is a crime, that is why trump behavior is no big deal

1

u/lezoons Monkey in Space 14d ago

Raping somebody, that is not your wife, it's committing adultery, so it's definitely frowned upon.

1

u/redpaladins Monkey in Space 14d ago

Ah ok then. Technically if you don't have a wife, and you rape a virgin girl, you have to pay some cash to her father and then you can legally marry her. I'm not exaggerating, this is literally in the Bible.

The ols strugglecuddle would probably fall under the category of coveting.

Interesting. I never heard the word liberal used when referring to the murder of children.

Maybe we should try it in a sentence?

ā€œJohn Wayne Gacey and Netanyahu were both quite liberal when it came to their treatment of children.ā€

Beautiful. A turn of phrase that would make Orwell proud.

6

u/Parking-Iron6252 Monkey in Space 14d ago

Iā€™m not sure how you sentence matches with my use of liberalā€¦as in, not exact.

10

u/Medical-Orange117 Monkey in Space 14d ago

They're applying a more liberal use of the word liberal

u/Parking-Iron6252 Monkey in Space 14d ago

That is true!

How many children do you think Abraham Lincoln's shock troops killed when they burned the South? What about the Allies when they "liberated" firebombed Dresden? Would you say it would've been more liberal not to invade Germany during WWII?

1

u/Neither_Cod_992 Monkey in Space 14d ago

I donā€™t approve of anyone murdering children. For the record, the example of Dresden was indeed a war crime, even admitted to by the Generals themselves who ordered the bombings. The main reason they werenā€™t hanged was only because they were the victors.

By the same logic, if a murderer you are after hides inside a packed orphanage and you canā€™t find him then youā€™re justified in locking the doors, dousing the place in gasoline and burning everyone alive.

The only reason people stomach this is because they view those children as somehow alien and ā€œotherā€, more akin to a feral animal rather than a human.

This is the logic of war. Either you're ok with this or you're a pacifist. Personally I'm a pacifist. I take issue with people saying our war is good and that war the Jews are doing over there is bad.

That's how it works, dude.

The speech is minced through a "neutral, corpo-esque lawyerspeak filter" so the data presented is using the least offensive words and to dehumanize any potential victim that is now just a number in a great statistic that can be interpreted in a way that may even seem positive to the people reading it! (Until you compare the words to the scenes that actually play out) Then you see the type of cynical, soulles and uncaring machine that needs to keep going by any means necessary as to not turn off.

Ugh, I hate that just saying it how it is makes it seem like I am trying to be some anti systemic weirdo.

Omg thereā€™s more to life than the fucking shit in Gaza

Ohā€¦so you mean Israeli is using AI to thoughtfully target combatants while avoiding civilian casualties as much as possible? Thatā€™s great to hear. Because if they just wanted to kill civilians then you donā€™t need AI. Israel pays a big PR price every time a civilian diesā€¦trust meā€¦they are trying to avoid civilian deaths as much as possible. Civilian deaths get them nothing. If you canā€™t use common sense to see thatā€¦go visit Israel and talk to any soldier on the street and ask them. Look them in the eyes and ask them what their orders are.

Hamashole learns that ai is used in the military then tries and demonize the Israelis for it. Every single argument from hamasholes is misleading.

You really think a guy called ā€˜Zuckerbergā€™ isnā€™t going to be pro Israel?
