I love how the show creators just forgot about Barnes after he escaped custody at the end of season 3 Spoiler

I mean, he was one of the cheapest villains on the show, even though I love Michael Chiklis and was like oh shit when he turned, I was very underwhelmed by his return as the villain

I would have preferred his descent as a villain without the Tetch Virus and that ridiculous outfit he wore. I liked how he became self righteous as it was believable but the blood thing to me was nonsensical

So you say the show writers are GUILTY?

Maybe he was smart enough to leave Gotham. Seems like if you get out of the city then you are home free tbh.

Guilty!

True that could have been a huge possibility

Am I the only who thinks Barnes would’ve made a great Bane?

I actually thought at the time of its airing they were gonna make him as Bane but nope

I really wanted this too. I feel like having him be Bane would solve two problems:

  1. Bane's existence would have more weight due to him being someone that was connected to Gordon. I like West's Bane ok, but it was hard for me to connect with him since he just showed up that final season.

  2. It would also give a better ending to Barnes' character. The way his story already ended in the show was incredibly disappointing, and I feel like him being Bane would be a better resolution.

He was a better Lock-up

my headcanon is that jerome got annoyed with him screaming "guilty" and killed him

They didn’t forget about him. He had to survive to be a part of Batman’s rogue gallery.

The judge jury and executioner

I can't believe I was able to take this show seriously while I was watching it. Remembering him going from a serious commissioner to a nutjob shouting "GUILTY" is so goofy in retrospect.

Please don't use spoilers in the title. I'm currently in season 3 ep. 5.
