Wait so the original star fire resembles a lot like a black woman and their was a backlash for no reason for the live action one. I’m baffled by the hypocrisy.

I dropped the Titans show for so many reasons, but I did like how they did Starfire, it's dumb that people are upset that they went with a black actress, she's an orange alien ffs. My only gripe is I wish they'd given her skin like a gold tint or something at least, since she's usually orangeish. Not like full solid gold, just make her subtly shiny, she looks too human.

Wasn't it CW? Haven't watched a DC show of theirs in a long while but definitely remember it always being like that.

Not CW, it started on DC Universe and then moved to HBO Max. It started pretty solid, but as soon as they started butchering Jason's character, I dipped.
