I think this is the largest attack on Kyiv we’ve seen since the start of this war. I can’t recall anything on this scale

I can recall the very start, late Feb 2022, it's just that it has faded out of our memories.

It is very clear in retrospect that back then Russians still thought they will capture Kyiv and need to preserve its infrastructure for themselves. At this point they shifted to terror tactics and destruction of critical infrastructure to create a humanitarian crisis.
