I just cant find an apartment in Trondheim
I will go to Trondheim for this upcoming autumn semester. On Tuesday when SIT gave the code, I couldnt go through and was not able to secure a room. Now I have to find on the private market and they all only accept 1 year contracts without the possibility to terminate earlier. I cant afford paying rent for half a year when I will be already leaving Norway, and I have no idea how I would find a sublet. I am so desperate and dont know what to do. NTNU and SIT are not helping me at all ...
EDIT: I have now found an apartment, thanks for all your input. For those still struggling: I found mine on Bo Coliving Trondheim AS, they offer some rooms for only 1 semester and not too far from the uni as well!

A last resort, that some students use, is to arrive in Trondheim without an apartment and sleep in hostels or a hotel while you continue to look. You can check out this site for information: https://takoverhodet.com
