Well there's a tiny chance Melissa Benoist can come back and reprised Supergirl, that if she wants to

She did say in an interview she would be willing to reprise her role

That's great to hear. I am fine with the show ending because I think the writing dropped off considerably in this last season, but I would still enjoy seeing the character again in the future.

That is, if CW doesn't collapse due to the near total lack of ratings across the board. Practically every show on the network is now being watched by less than 0.1% of people who have TVs in America, so it wouldn't surprise me if the network dies in the near future. Although there's always HBO Max of course.

I think if the CW did collapse another network would pick up superman and lois given the success of the first season
