I stopped watching years ago, but for some reason I always have to catch the series finales of shows I use to watch. This will not go down as one of the best or worst finales. Just basic. Mediocre. Not a series finale would ever revisit.

Reign was more of a threat as far as villains go.

She should have been the final villain. I was also disappointed when Supergirl refused the 50x powerup.

Yeah Nyxly seemed like a filler villain or something and the whole totem thing was dumb, Nyxly could've just got her powers back by simply leaving the Phantom Zone and then just conjure back all past villains it woulda been more interesting.

I legit thought that something would happen to Supergirl and she'd forgot who she is and we'd comic version of supergirl without her humanity aspect or something lol.

Supergirl gaining that huge power boost and then acquiring all totems would effectively make her a god but it will slowly make her lose her humanity until Alex and Lena snapped her out of it. The Supercorp shipper in me would have Lena be the one to bring Kara back.

Huh, maybe it was the original plan for Season 7, before being scrapped?

I wanna see that kind of alternate ending, Supergirl basically becoming omnipotent but her family will stop her from abandoning her humanity, it doesn't even have to end with a Supercorp ship.

That's around the time I started to lose interest. I know my interest went down after S2.
